    Visa approved!

K1 timelines and procedures are not comparable to IR/CR visas
  2. Time to reread. Last paragraph of the OPs initial post. "We have not submitted...."
  3. Try asking this question in the Russia, Ukraine and Belarus regional forum
  4. Notarized? I don't think so.
  5. 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Typically within a couple of weeks depending on work load
  6. The sealed package is all they need. The CD is for your personal records.
  7. Yes, it all depends on how many are in the queue ahead of you
  8. For the I129f you need only provide evidence of one meeting within the previous two years. Information regarding other time spent together can be provided at the time of the interview.
  9. I wouldn't. Even a reliable Consulate such as Manila can't be trusted. They delayed my wife's visa by more than two months which was past our original planned departure date.
  10. Are you using the most recent version of the form? Edition dated 1/4/23?
  11. Which section are you trying to answer?
  12. Visa validity is based on the medical, nothing to do with the marriage date.
  13. As others have said that there is no harm to try, i would however caution you to not set your sights very high for a positive outcome
  14. My wife showed 30 minutes before scheduled interview time. She was finished within 2 to 3 hours
  15. In the almost two decades of being on this site, i have only read of a small handful of times where a USC is required to provide biometrics.
  16. This happens on occasion when NVC finds something, such as a clerical error, that the USCIS needs to rectify. I haven't heard of anybody having any negative outcome other than a small delay.
  17. Your attorney is right
  18. We typically use Indiana Balikbayan which was usung Makati Express but is now using LBC as the forwarder. Sometimes we use 5G Enterprises. Both ship out of Chicago.
  19. I wish. Our luck has been every time
  20. The two shippers we use do not require a packing list. We go there respective websites, print the shipping label and that's it. We ship lots of things. We built a house so we shipped household items, clothing, food stuff, gifts, etc. My wife is also an online seller, so she ships anything she has sold.
  21. We shipped more than 60 boxes last year in individual shipments of 10 to 13 boxes at a time. Absolutely no declaration of contents was given. All arrived without a hitch. If there is one thing notable that Duterte did was eliminated the cusoms holdup for anything other than prohibited items. Also , If they want to open a box, it now must be done in the presence of the sender or receiver. We currently have 17 boxes in transit with another 6 being packed up for shipping in October.
  22. FYI, with chocolate will likely arrive in some sort of a melted state as these containers get hot during transit.

    Packet 3 email

Nope. Some consulates don't use the "packet" system anymore and post everything online and make the process 100% applicant driven while others are very structured and control the process very tightly.. Some consulates want document submitted before the interview others want it everything hand carried and presented day off. Your best resources are your fellow Canadians.
