Hello, I am finishing up my filling for my husband in Ghana, we just realized that his passport expires May 1st 2022.
Is it wise to renew it first, before putting the information on the documents.. or I can send everything in with the May 1st expiration while he Renews the passport.
this question refers to part 4 information about the beneficiary.

@Crazy Cat I am sending my I-130 and I-130a and all the supporting documents, through mail. Do I need to send all my tax transcript all together, or do I wait? Till they’re requested? I am a bit confused.

@Crazy Cat thank you, I will go ahead and file.. I was going to send my file to immigration on April 1st. So should I wait till I have documents to support that I have filed for 2019? Or should I also write a letter explaining why 2019 taxes are not in my file, and explained that I have filed..just waiting for the documents to be sent t me.

Hello everyone
I have a situation, 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I worked as a nanny in 2019, and I come to find out that my employer did not withheld federal and state taxes. when I received a W2, I was a bit shocked because he used to pay me with personal checks. So I thought all taxes where taken out. So it was a big mess and I didn’t file taxes that year. Now that immigration is asking for 3 years back. I only have 2020 and 2021.. what do I do? I know I can file the 2019 and start paying whatever I owe to the IRS. How will that play off with my case if I don’t have the 2019 taxes. Should I send my file to the immigration after I file for 2019, which I know it might take a bit longer to update so I can get the transcript. Or should I send 2020 and 2021 with evidence of filling the 2019?
please help.

@SteveInBostonI130 thank you for the advice. I have a question, can I also just mail in the form I-130 and I-130a together with all the supporting evidence? Or is it wise to do it online.

Hello family,
I am stuck on how to organize, my documents in the binder for my husband’s CR-1 visa files.
does anyone has a format on how they organized their table of content? is a cover letter necessary?
Does the documents has to be in a binder? Or is there any other folders? What do you guys recommend?
please and thank you. 🙏🏾 -
Hello, I am new to visa journey. And I am starting the process for my husband for the CR-1
i haven’t filed yet, I am still organizing all my documents. My question is, I live in Minnesota but my State ID is from Michigan. I haven’t changed it yet. Will that be a problem when I file? Or should I first get a Minnesota ID with my residence address on it?
thanks in advance
Ghana b2 visa. Anyone have any experience?

@swisscantmissI heard couple people transferred their cases to Freetown Sierra Leone.. the wait time there for an interview is only 180 days. I believe you have to get a resident permit there, which doesn’t take long. Most were student visas though, so something to also look into. And it’s visa free for Ghanaians.
good luck keep us updated.
