  1. Thanks. Although there's no massive rush as waiting on the police certificate. Just so I know roughly what to expect.
  2. Hi Micam, We haven't recieved our NVC welcome email yet. Did both petitioner and beneficiary recieve one? Also, our case only updated to 'case was sent to department of state' on Wednesday last week. Did you get that status before your welcome email?
  3. Hi, PD was 09/15/22 Recieved at Potomac K3 sent 10/07/22 recieved at Texas Active review 04/24/23 Approval of I-130 04/28/22 from Texas. No expedite request. The K3 still isn't denied so I'm not sure of it helped, since usually I see K3 is denied then I-130.is approved? There wasn't a 2nd active review status either.
  4. Good idea, I'll do that. I got the form a few weeks ago from them, just hadn't finished it. I had it ready to go so sent it Monday.
  5. I sent it off on Monday this week when we got the approval notice. Not sure how long it takes, I hoped for 2 weeks? Currently NVC is pretty fast and I think Interview is approx 2 months from DQ? I want to try to aim for an August / September interview so doesn't matter to us if we take a little time at NVC stage. I'm serving notice at work until end of October anyway.
  6. I didn't send proof of address as I forgot it as it's not in the checklist. I'll struggle to wait on the line for long enough to call them. It says the proof of address needs to go to a customer service email, which is not the same as the application email... should I send a follow up mail to customer service with my proof of address so they can attach it?
  7. Lawfully notified me the day after. Have you received your welcome mail from NVC stage yet? It seems we'll be following a similar timeline, although I hadn't sent off my police cert so we may be a bit behind. Could see each other at the embassy! haha
  8. No email at all. Lawfully updated today, but still no notice from USCIS. My husband just happened to check (as he does a couple of times a week.) The account now shows approved aswell (yesterday still showed on active review).
  9. OMG!! We're approved. We checked today and it was there under documents. Approval date was Friday 28th. Soooo excited.
  10. Yeah. We've been stuck on case recieved status until now. Nothing under documents tab but we'll keep an eye just in case.
  11. Wooohoooo. Finally an AR for us. It means nothing except seeing something means everything mentally.
  12. Congratulations!! Nice to see the first one from our group getting approval.
  13. Did you apply for the K3? Vermont is a center it seems to work at?
  14. That's awesome. Fingers crossed for you that all goes as planned 🙂
  15. Oh wow. That's useful info thank you. Were you also in progress of a spouse visa, or just the O?
  16. Hi, I think premium processing is available for this. What made you meet the requirements for interview waiver? Have you had a visa before?
  17. I am the beneficiary in an I-130 process (Consular processing, 7 months post PD.) I am exploring the option of a position with my company which could transfer me to the US on an L1A visa (I have worked for the company for 16 years in a foreign subsidiary and both my current and potential new position meet the Manager / Executive status). Our lawyers have indicated they could transfer me under their L1 blanket visa. I'm reading various things online that the process could take a few months (with premium processing) to a year potentially. As I'm 7 months into waiting for I-130 approval, pursuing this only really makes sense if it's the former timeline. I should hear later this week or early next if they will make me an offer. Does anyone have recent experience with the process and can share their experience? It would be London Embassy if that makes any difference?
  18. Texas seems to go in waves. I've seen like 1 week of the month there will be a stream of approvals. Perhaps they rotate each week through each if the petition types? They seem to be on March, April & May right now.
  19. Awesome. As well as checking documents tab, it may be worth asking Emma if your petition has moved. I read that also sometimes that also triggers AR.
  20. I have seen K3 speeding approval for some at Vermont, so fingers crossed for you.
  21. I think 2 months left would have been relatively fast anyway? Although 'fast' is also subjective. Let's hope NVC stage stays as fast as it currently is to counter some of the USCIS extended time.
  22. I saw the new processing times too. I also see that LPR petitions are no longer current on the visa bulletin, so perhaps they are prioritising CR1 over F2A to help speed some up? I'm now in some potentially exciting talks with my employer who are looking to transfer me to the US with an L1 visa. That would see me there sometime this summer. I hope for all of us we start seeing some kind of positive movement on our cases in a few months 🙏
