Your post was read. An I-130 is filed to start an immigrant visa process. It is not an application for a green card. YOU made the error, not the people that are correcting you. Only AFTER the visa is both issued and used to enter the USA, will a green card come into play. You will never apply for a green card. When your I-130 petition is approved, your spouse will be invited to apply for a spouse visa.
There's a few
I-130 filers immigration group
CR1/IR1 K1 US VISA PROCESSING
I-130 Petition Potomac Filers
If you just search on facebook 'I-130 filer' .. . 'cr-1 visa' etc you should see some groups popping up. there are also some for specific service centres and countries.
Why is it that Nebraska seems to be so much faster with everything? Everyday that passes knowing I am at Potomac and that Nebraska is on top of everything makes me so crazy and even depressed. This whole process makes me so upset and angry at our government at times. I fully understand why they must vet folks due to abuse but, my goodness there must be a better way. I wish I knew where to even start with getting a movement started.....ya know?
Anyways, Just needed to vent for my own mental health. I realize my case is rather young especially in comparison to many many others who have been waiting so long - I can only imagine how they feel with how disappointed I am everyday. I knew going into this it was quite the process but, you know when you try and tell your heart to listen to reason within your brain the heart wins.
Oh, and I am also considering doing the K-3 since it is free whether it makes any difference or not - maybe just to make myself feel better.
God bless all of us and our spouses thru this process.
