DQ'd 15th June but think we missed the cut off for August interviews.  Hoping to hear end of July for Sept interview 🤞

How early can I get the patient summary?  Does it need to be dated after IL letter recieved?  Thanks

Think we are in the same boat. DQ'ed June 14. I'm a little confused on the medical. Would it be ok for my husband to go ahead and schedule an appointment for sometime in July or August before we receive the IL? Are the any common mistakes around the medical that we can try to avoid?

It could be either way it seems. From what I've read here, it's usually back to the beginning of the line. But I got lucky and when I didn't include both forms of my 1099-ENT, they checked the next day and approved. But I guess it's because they had nothing extra to check, the 2nd form contained the exact same financial info as the first, so they just needed it for completeness.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm feeling optimistic for some reason lol. But we are also probably waiting to make the move until we qualify for IR-1 in October, so no huge rush at this stage....just annoying.

  3. NVC update: We heard today right on schedule and most of our documents were accepted. Unfortunately we made a silly mistake on the Birth Certificate file so it was rejected. We submitted an uncorrupted file this morning as soon as we got the message. Another file, a photo of my husband's J-1 visa from several years ago hasn't been processed yet. Do you think that we'll get a decision on the new birth certificate file when they process the J-1 visa evidence? Or is it back to the beginning of the queue for us?

Finally got approved from Vermont service center. Its been a long road since December 2021. Case changed to activate review. I checked the document tab and approval notice was there. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. I hope it won't be long.

Congratulations! We finally moved to active review a couple days ago. I hope that means that approval is coming soon.

  5. Hi, Just here to offer some solidarity to December folks who are still waiting. My husband and I are also still stuck at "case received" in Vermont. My lawyer was able to file a service request, because we were originally at Texas, and I think it must have been one day before they extended the dates. Don't feel too bad about not being able to file a request because all they said to us is that the case is at Vermont and it is still within "normal processing times" even though it's been over 15 months and the estimated time for Vermont is now 14 months. I think if this is still going on by October, then I will need to put my degree on pause and move to the UK to be with my husband....
