  1. So very true. mine went from 6 months, to two weeks, to 3 days to four months. Three months later approved I130
  2. I filed DCF in Vietnam, Ho Chi Ming City. We were living in Vietnam and I got a job offer in USA that required me to be there in 3 months. I filed an 1-130 an requested to expidete under exceptional financial circumstance. The !-130 process was approved and my spouse Sprouse recieved her visa within 3 months. In my letter detailing exceptional circumstance request , I discussed my financial and professional development need to accept this position. I also attached my employer's letter of job offer, my response letter accepting the position, and letter from the employer with a requested start date.
  3. use a continuation sheet and attach to the back of the form for any additional information
  4. I can't get back to that page since my docs were already submitted. There is a section after where you upload the files that say Comments (Optional). Middle of the page. I typed in that box and it uploaded.
  5. This did not work for me. Once submitted it could not be retrived. Fortunately I filled it out on paper b4 filling it out electronically. You may want to download the blank form and print it at FedEx or public printing place. I find that printing blank forms and filling them out before going electronically save me errors.
  6. I added comments in the comment section and was able to upload files
  7. Nothing here as well Let me know if you find a solution or have contact information to NVC THanks
  8. I read a few online comments. Seems several folks has had the same problems for a few days. Just tried again and no luck. Waited two years to get to this point and stuck again. Yuck! I'm got in to do some more research and see if I can get a solution.
  9. Any suggentions of how to solve NVC upload issues? I cannot upload any documents to include the I864 or tax documents etc. All are under 2 MB and .pdf format. Tried on two different computers and same issue. Anyone experienced this and if so, please let me know the fix. Thanks.
  10. I finally got to the NVC stage after a two year wait. I'm a USC and my stepson is under 16 and lives in Vietnam. Which form I864 do I file? Only the I864W? Or do I need to file an additional 864 form to complete the Affidavit of Support. The instructions are a bit confusing. I'm aware that I also have to upload Tax Transcript, but how many years of transcripts are required. My NVC notice does not provide specifics. Thanks in advance.
  11. Checking my I130 petition today on the USCIS site. Case Status page says 4 weeks until completion. Then checked the Documents tab and found the I130 approval letter. Point: Always check the document tab when checking the status.
  12. Filed our I130 in March 2022 for stepson to join us in USA. Few months ago said processing time 3 months. Two months later said 1 month. Then 4 weeks, 3 weeks, to 1 week. After one week, the processing time projections dissapared. Now back to saying actively working on your case. That was three weeks ago and still no status. I would disregard that timeline. It's meaningless.
  13. I filed I130 in March 2022 for Step son to join his mother and family in US. Still waiting. Three weeks ago USCIS website said one week for decision. Just have to wait.
  14. I filed for a K1 and while that was still processing, I filed a CR1. No issues. I just cancelled the K1 while it was pending and continued with CR1. Visa approved in 2021 and now living in USA.
  15. We filed in Vietnam a week after marriage certifacate was in hand.
  16. Sad news. Hang in there; it will all work out. Sorry, I'm not familar with Counsulate in Thailand. In Vietnam, HCMC, you can interview without the medical exam completed. I would email the office handling your case to be sure you cannot interview without the medical exam completed. On a side note, my wife and I lived in BKK in 2019-2020; We had a wonder time there.
  17. Got my spouse visa in a short time in HCMC. Submitted about 30 pages of documents. If in doubt; submit it.
  18. What about previuos marriages. Need documents if divorces by either party. Don't forget to check everything twice before sending. Important: Print a copy of the I130 Form b4 sending. I could not retrieve it once sent.
  19. Next it will say 3 months vice 2. 6 months later it will say 2. I pay absolutely no attention to their estimates.
  20. DIY. Essentially, you're doing everything anyway. Gathering all the edvidence, documents, etc. The lawyer compiles, fill out the form, and file. Having done this twice (for spouse and step son), it's not complicated. As said above, meticulously follow the instructions. A friend had an attourney file, but the attourney forgot to get the petitioner to sign the form. After waiting 8 months, it was kicked back for signature and the waiting restarts. Lesson Learned: check, check, and double check to ensure all is correct before submitting.
  21. Got a similar letter while in HCMC. Recommend scheduling the medical appointments immeadiately.
  22. Just another note, got an email this AM from USCIS stating the case has moved from NSC to CSC and someone will contact me in 30 calendar days based on the request I made. At least there is movement. will submit their required document (textbook size) this week.
  23. Ah! I did not know that. But makes sense. Had I known, I would have loaded up documentation from the start. Thanks
