just a question. Im really find myself stupid asking this because I'm not that active in vj so my question is:
I'm a k3 applicant., Our visa is good for two years. I know there's a little percent of chance that this may happen., but I'm just curious.
What if your AOS application is put on hold and you're still awaiting for the approval and your k3 visa expires?
Will you be deported or is there a way to extend your status?

I'm an aos applicant however., this question is for my mother in law who is petitioning her daughters from philippines under f2b visa.
What is the priority date they are processing now?
Do you think that they would slow down the processing of the applications because of the comong elections?
According to the US embassy website, all F2b visas will have to undrego document verification before the us embassy can issue a visa., my question is once the aplication is approved, can they pay the document verication fee to start the process of the verification thing to avoid dealys in visa issuance? if not? when is the right time?
Any help would be appreciar=ted.
Thanks!!!

Hi guys! I just need an understanding for this. I'm a bit worried.
I already did my medical. The doctor filled up the form I-693 meaning I completed the whole medical including the vaccination supplement. I already completed my medical from my home country but the doctor still do the complete medical thing. I submitted the sealed envelope (I-693) and I also submitted the ds-3025 vaccination supplement from my home country to make sure.
Because I'm a k3., I'm not aware that I should just have submitted the form I-693A vaccination supplement not the entire medical report.
Will there be any problem for this.
Thanks! Any help would be appreciated.

I got some questions to you vjr's, I'm actually filling up forms needed in my adjustment of status and I'm wondering what is a file number? what is an "a" number and what is an alien registration number? I'm confuse because in my I-94 departure record, there is an "a" followed by an 8 digit number. Is it an "a" number, what is it? Thank you guys for your help!!!!!

TO all those who are still waiting for their visa and who are still in jail because of document verification, keep the faith and hang in there, I'll include you in my prayers. Thank God I'm done with it and the visa is indeed in my hand!!!!
This is my experience:
I payed 650 on Feb 8. I called Delbros and told me they received my payment and confirm my payment to the embassy that same day. Feb 8. My interview is on March 3. I found out that even though I payed on Feb 8, the results are not there yet. March 4, I called Grace and told me not to worry because the verification just started last week of Feb.
I called delbros again and I was told that the embassy just forwarded the verication request Feb 28. So delbros just forwarded the request to nso on March 3 my day of interview. After that I called embassy every other day and got no news and was told I'm in administrative review so I stop calling them for like 2 weeks. I keep myself busy, I stop worrying coz it doesn't help. and to my surprised my visa finally came.
Now for all those who were not yet interviewed., here are some tips to avoid hassles and delays., I hope these can help.
If you think that you qualified for document verification, pay 650 1- 2 months before interview.
I think, applicants who are qualified for document verification are as follows:(these were only my observations)
if you think you are old like 30 up and never got married, they would verify your cenomar
if you have a child on your past relationship( because this is my situation)
late registered
death certificate or you have a annulment
But to make sure I adviced you to pay, the 650 pesos even if you are not qualified (just to make sure. maybe its also in the consul's mood
After paying the 650, call delbros at 3392761 and ask if they already received the payment and if they already confirm it to the embassy.
After that, call the embassy for updates if the verication starts
Call delbros again and ask if they already forward the request to nso
if they did, wait 3 weeks before calling the embassy if they results were there
If the results were there, all you can do is wait, because no one in the embassy will tell you what's going on until the visa is released. Its just a waste of time and money. All they will say is you are under review.
Goodluck to all who are under AR and hang in there! Godbless!!!!!

Thank you for your greetings. Until now I can't believe I'll be with my honey soon. That's a long wait but see, patience is a virtue. for those who are still in AR document verification, I'll include you in my prayers, and I hope you will receive your visa soon.
Right now, I'm spending time with my mom who's from Japan. She chose to visit me here so she can also visit our close relatives as well., I'll spend my remaining two weeks with them.
And for edp333, I know what you're feeling right now, But I really want to thank you and I admire you because eventhough you're in that situation, you're always there ready to help our vj'rs here. Just keep the faith and I know, you'll have your visa soon!!!! Godbless!!!!

the consul told me that that they should verify first my documents on nso and after they will issue the visa.
i don't have rfe and i dont need to submit any documents but I'm just paranoid that after the verification, they will forward it to consulate after that, they will review again my papers and discover that parents name were mispelled in the petition sent to uscis, is it an issue? its lika agatha and my mother's name is agata. and in my bc its agata rosario. (that's my mother's name. and my husband's fathers name is jesus edwardo, in the petition sent to uscis, it was just jesus and in my husband's bc its only edwardo and in our marriage certificate my mother's name is rosario and my husbands father name is only edwardo. As you can see they have double names.
I'm just paranoid but what keeps me positve because, all of those documents were submitted to uscis and they have reviewed that already. and the pre sceener and the consul dont even question those matter., We have no problem regarding my name and my husbands name, they were all correct. I'm just paranoid our parents name woild ne an issue
Please help me, I'm so paranoid, I keep worrying. Do I need to worry? wil this be an issue? I'm afraid thy might ask me for more documnts, but according to consul, nso verification is all they need, I dont need to submit any.
Pls help me, I'm so frustrated, dont know whay to do.

wait till you hear from us
-
yeah definitely, actually, there were many of us. I dont understand. Go to philippines forum you will see my post there. thats reaaly their procedure, and we have nothing to do but wait. I also paid on the 8. I called delbros and I was told they forward it to nso on 11. I called Miss grace and told me not to worry because its their standard procedure and my verification process just started last week of feb even though I paid on the 8th. It could take 4 weeks though, some are faster, some take months, some just takes weeks. It depends on the case. Goodluck and congrats atleast we don't get denial and we passed the interview.

Hey Everyone,
So my fiancee had her interview yesterday and it looks like she is on AR but she really wasn't told much about what was going on. When she looked at her paper there is a check next to employment-based petitions and it says wait to hear from us. Does anyone know what this is relating to and how I can find out? Is there a specific number I should call at the embassy or is this just a standard thing. She paid the delbros 2 weeks ago and maybe they haven't gotten to it yet. If anyone has any idea what this means, please let us know. I'm getting worried about it now. Congrats to all who were approved so far.
Frank and Delia
It seems were all in the same situation. document verification!!!!! there's nothing we can do but to wait for the verification process. Let's just be thankful were not denied and its just a standard procedure to verify documents. I hope we all get our visa soon...

Thank you all for your reply ahuhuhuuh im so so worried...I paid the delbros before my Interview it was on Feb. 8, 2008 for the documents verification but still i got the paper that says wait until you hear from us.I'm so sad because i wanted to fly before my fiances birthday.I hope im not on AR.I hope its only because of the verification :-(.
did you received the white paper with dear applicant, we are unable to complete the process under section221g? kasi means we are reaaly in administrative review, but you don't have to worry, there are lots of us. They just use the form but once they get feedback from nso, our visa will soon be issued. we are in the ar because of the verification. That is there procedure so lets hope for the best quick verification
-
ei, nathan and neren, were really the same. got interviewed last mar 3, got pink slip and white paper with we are unable to process then with a check mark on the bottom wait till you here from us. i just pay the delivery fee and then I gave the window 37 guy my receipt from delbros that I alreay paid on the 8th.

congratulations Bliss!!!!!

I had a correction on my birth certificate and it could be the possible reason. I have an annotation remarks regarding my name. A single letter only. And also, maybe they really wanna make sure our marriage is genuine.
Out of curiosity, I called up NSO legal department ask ask basically how long is the verification? The guy told me that a query from US Embassy is usually marriage contract and cenomar. It could take a month depending on the case. But definitely, they could not give information because its really confidential. So its just a waste of time. Lets keep praying, that's the only way. AS what mari and michelle said, lets look at the brighter side, atleast we passed the interview and did not get a denial. Let's think that this is really their standard procedure to make sure all of the documents are true. Once they get feedback from NSO, they will soon issue our visa!!!!
