  1. I finally called USCIS today. The lady who I spoke to was nice. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to know much about my applications and she suggested I make an infopass appointment. What is that? Please throw some light.

If infopass really helps, I'll have my hubby make an appointment.

Ok, back to being upset. No touches so far. :crying::crying::crying::crying:

    Thanks.

We have the same question regarding our receipt notice and which date will they go by, It's nice to know sweety 10, as you've said, we're really sailing in the same boat. You know what? when I called uSCIS last week, the lady suggested that we should have infopass. So my husband have it scheduled on DEc 4. So I hope, we can atleast have information that is certain, about our original received date and priority date.

  2. I'm so so depressed. My lawyer sent my I-130 back in May ang mu I-129f in july because of their late noa 1. Until now, I don't received any touches. USCIS told my hubby, that I should wait 30 days before inquiring. Our lawyer told us that it's inappropriate to call USCIS now, and wait for 4-6 weeks? If wuthin that span of time, we Don't hear anything from them, that's the time, she will call USCIS.

So frustrating, I miss my husband so much, and I can't spend christmas with him. So lonely. :crying::crying::crying:

Everyday was a bad day. I can't even afford to smile and I found myself crying and crying. I always dream of approvals, US arrivals. letters, and I get more and more deppressed. I miss my hubby. What matters to me now is me to be with my hubby in US., :crying::crying::crying::crying:

  3. thankks for responding! But my problem is there is pririty date indicated in my noa there was no received date. How will they know my place in the line? will they go for my notice date? Just for comparison, what was your received date indicated in your noa2 pririty date? and notice date? thank you YGand Mat

    Hi again,

Ok. Here we go. I sent my I-130 on May 21st. The dates below is what is printed on my hard copies NOA1 and NOA2.

I-130, NOA1 Dates: Received Date: NONE Stated, PRIORITY Date: NONE Stated, NOTICE DATE: 7/11/07 (USCIS Website tells me it was received June 6th)

    I-130, NOA2 (approval) Dates: Receipt Date: June 6, 2007, PRIORITY Date: May 24, 2007, NOTICE DATE: October 30, 2007

1-129F, NOA1 Dates: Received Date: July 22, 2007, Priority Date: NONE stated

1-129F, NOA2 Dates: Receipt Date: July 25, 2007, Priority Date: NONE stated, Notice Date: November 21, 2007

I hope this can help you. Like I said, I think your priority date is in May. USCIS will know your place in line because they have your date recorded in the system, even though it's not indicated on your I-130 NOA1.

    Best of luck.

thanks again. This is really a big help, it lessens my stress, and I'm hoping, to get approval soon. because, were almost the same thanks!

  4. I just need a piece of advice coz operators gave me different information.

I've learned that I-130 and I-129f for k3 are processed together going by the received date of the I-130.

My problem is this. Originally my I-130 package is sent May 15. When I checked online it says they received it june 1.

on our receipt notice, there is no received date nor a pririty date. The only date there is the notice date. July 11.

There is no consistency on the received date of the I-130. How can they know my actual received date? Which date will they go by?

Did they have it in their system?,or simply get the package and see the postmarked by USPS.

Its frustrating. My I-130 package was with them since May 15. and don't know which date will they go by. Is it May 15, june1, or July? It's unfair if they would go with the notice date July 11, since I dont have a received date nor priority date in the receipt notice. IMagine 2 months gap?

I'm expecting they would go by May 15 date, and My approval of the I-129f would follow even I Filed it late in july. It's not my fault anyway.

    Please please help me :crying::crying::crying:

  5. in our receipt notice for , there is no received date

    it apperars like this:

received date: priority date notice date: 7/11/07

why is there no received date? on there system, it says there they received it on june 1, but they originally receives it May 15.

    what date would they go?

Is that NOA1 ? Mine is like that also....On my NOA1 receipt is says Priority Date: 5/30/07...but USCIS has received 6/12/07 date anyway...I think they choose the date that allows them the most time for processing.

My I130 receipt DOES NOT have received date OR priority date. IT only has notice date: 06/15/2007. Would they get to mine soon? :crying:

mine also is same as yours sweety 10. atleast were the same

  6. Which file do they work on first? Is the 129f first or I130 first? Thanks.

I called USCIS yesterday and the one that I spoke with told me that, they go with the received date. I told her the truth that I foled my I-130 back in may, and she told me, that I need to wait atleast 27 more days before inquiring. She told me that even it appears online that they received my I-130 June 1, it doesnt matter, They would still go with the original breceive date which is May 15. She even told me that I can get my approval sooner for my k3 visa because of my I-130 date. So that means, they go with the I-130 date.

I really don't know, but she really confirmed that to me, I don't know, they gave us different information but I really hope and pray for our approvals!

I hope this answers your question. I filed mine close to yours. checked my timeline

  7. Just for comparison, I mailed my I-129F to CSC on September 6. It arrived, according to USPS, on September 7.

Owing to the receipting delays, it took more than 2 months for me to receive the NOA1 from CSC (although some people got theirs within a couple of weeks during the same period?). Nevertheless, on the NOA1 it gives the receipt date as September 7, as it should be, but the NOA1 is dated November 2.

When I check online they say they received it on November 1, so there doesn't seem to be a lot of consistency in the dates.

In your case, it could be a simple clerical error, but then at least it amounts to less than 1 month (a small fraction of the total time it takes to process the application).

I guess what is important is when they process the I-129F and I-130 together, whether they go by the receipt date of the I-130 or the I-129F? I'm hoping that they go by the former, as I sent my I-130 in July (2 months before the I-129F for complicated reasons). If they go by the former, then your receipt error for the I-129F will be of little or no consequence. I wonder if anyone on this site can clarify which receipt date they go by on dual I-129F/I-130 processings?????

You might want to go online to see when your files were last "touched." Mine were last touched on November 20, which appears to indicate that the I-130 and I-129F packages have already been bundled together.

  8. what keeps me worried is that My lawyer originally mailed the I-130 package May 8,2007. A week after that, we called USCIS and were told that they got the package May 15. The lady gave us the receipt no. When we checked that online, their system is not yet updated. And after a month, we checked online and it sayys On June 1,2007 we received this I-130....., to think that they received it may 15?, So frustrating!!! Another thing we got the receipt notice hardcopy july 16. and in our receipt nlotice, there is no received date indicated nor a priority date. What's there is the receipt date July 11? So do you think They would go on July 11 date, even they originally received it May 15? Its their fault why I sent the I-129f late, because of their 45 days mailing delay of the NOA1 .

Anyone who experience the same thing? thanks! any help, or suggestion?

  11. thanks c and j ! I just have few questions regarding k3. So frustrating that we sent the I-130 package may 8, 2007. My hubby called USCIS and was told they got it may 15. But when I checked online it says there On June 1, 2007 we received this I-130..... and the receipt date is July 11.we got the hardcopy of the receipt notice July 18. When will I start counting? Is it from June !st or from July 11?

Another thing, since We got the hardcopy of the receipt notice late, we file the I-129f july 18, and was receive by the USCIS July 24. it was transferred to laguna niguel aug 9, so does it mean I have to count from the date of the transfer aug.9 even USCIS receives it JUly 24? Plsss. help me. So confused. We are in the same boat and you guys are the one giving me hope.
