  1. Thank you, it does seems like it, but it has been 9 days, and I do see people who got "approved" on 8/26/22, and then got "issued" on 8/28/22... which makes me worried.
  2. Hi Just wondering if anyone knows what "approved" means in CEAC status? We had our interview and got approved on 8/22/22, the same day, the status changes from "Application received" to "Approved". The explanation on "Approved" is "Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application." Guangzhou Embassy, is anyone experiencing the same? Thank you!!
  3. If your case is showing ready at the ceac website, I suggest you to contact you local embassy. Because they should send you P3 packet when it's ready.
  4. Thank you, this is very helpful! Thank you! Thank you!
  5. Hi I'm filling the I-134 form, and I'm just wondering does the beneficiary has to bring proofs of his/her assets to interview even if the petitioner will support the beneficiary? And I saw many instructions on I-134, they all put "0" for beneficiary's income, but what if the beneficiary has a job and making money? Any advices are appreciate , especially people who filled the new I-134 and had interview. Thanks !!!
  6. Case was updated to "refused" on 7/18, and then updated again on 7/20, but the status still "refused" I have no idea what that means....
  7. Because when I check my case on ceac website, it says "at NVC", I thought it would be like "at NVC" - "in transit" - "ready" - "refused", that's why I was asking if you know the timeframe for it. I guess I should just wait for it to update patiently. Thanks and good luck on your interview!
  8. Hi, just a quick question, do you know how long it will take for the case status from "at NVC" to "in transit"? @Merica-n
  9. SAME!! I just got the email from NVC as well, and our case is also transferring to GUANGZHOU, I guess we will have very similar timeline from now :))
  10. After 50 days of waiting, we finally got our case number from NVC!
  11. My NOA2 was actually one day before yours, but still nothing from NVC😭
  12. It's been 40 days since my NOA2, and nothing from NVC yet. Is there anyway to get some information beside waiting for inquiry response?
  13. Congrats! Did you do anything after you receive your NOA2? I got my NOA2 on 5/28/22, and still nothing at the moment.
  14. It shouldn't be a problem, because when we are talking about K1, we are talking about financial stability of petitioner, not the beneficiary.
  15. So I should just leave this part blank? Or put $0 for contribution amount? It's confusing, because when they ask for relationship, this is how they defined: "Relationship to the Beneficiary (Type or print “Self” if you are filing for yourself as the beneficiary or “Beneficiary” if someone is agreeing to support you in Part 3.)" I'm assuming someone is "US citizen", so write down "beneficiary" would just mean the beneficiary himself/herself.
  16. I just looked up my cover letter for petition, beside the i129f itself, I have 1 page of Evidence of U.S citizenship, 1 page of my fiancé's passport, 2 pages of letters of intention to marry within 90 days, 3 pages of itineraries for in-person meeting, 1 page of my visa and entry stamps to china, and 2 pages of pictures (20 pictures from different time in different places). That's total of 10 pages beside the i129f form, we got approved with no RFE.
  17. As someone who was born in Fuzhou and raised in states, I don't encourage this tradition, my family don't do the dowery thing, and we are not poor. I can't believe that you are still doing it. It's not "No one can dodge this", it's a lot people in Fuzhou still think that marriage is a man buying a woman's life from her parent. And your wife was married, didn't she get that from her ex husband already? According to USCIS website, the following are what you need for initial evidence if applicable. FYI, you are required to have a tax transcript that shows your income meets the 125% of poverty line requirement for family of 4 (since she has two children, I assume she wants take them to states as well), which is $34687. You should go back to work and make sure you would meet the requirement when you get to the process of interview. Documentation showing joint ownership of property; A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence, meaning you both live at the same address together; Documentation showing that you and your spouse have combined your financial resources; Birth certificates of children born to you and your spouse together; Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship. Each affidavit must contain the full name and address of the person making the affidavit; date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit; and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired their knowledge of your marriage; and Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union
  18. Happy for you too! We haven't start the ds160 and i134 yet, for ds160, we have very simple background, so it shouldn't take long for us, and I have all the document ready for i134.(I'm planning to provide tax transcript, bank statement, insurance policy, stock account and deed) But I think they might want to see the most recent document, so I will download those documents when my fiancé schedule his interview. I will also be making an album of our pictures, itineraries, chat history when I have time. Meanwhile my fiancé is preparing other documents that required for interview (birth certificate and police certificate), we will also call the medical center to see if we have to make appointment for the medical exam. I'm so excited about this, we haven't see each other since the pandemic, can't wait!
  19. Same! I guess what we have to do is to wait for NVC to get our cases, which may takes about a month? And once we have our case number from NVC, we can track the status with the link following https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV Once the case has arrived at the embassy, then make an appointment.
  20. Got a notification from case tracker while I was looking this forum. We got approved!! 393 days waiting 4/28/21 NOA1 5/26/22 NOA2
