    DS 156 Mistake

    Hi there

    Ok, so I had our lawyer get all our documentation together in preparation for a Packet 3 from the London embassy (K3). Which he did and forwarded me a copy of the DS 156. I noticed there were a couple of mistakes on there regarding where members of my family live (it asks if any members are in the US and if they are US citizens or not). Well, my wife and father live there as US citizens but he forgot and put a NO for everyone.

    Also there are a couple of blank spaces in there that I could easily fill with pen, but I guess it will be information the embassy won't have until I turn up with it at the interview.

    My question for our network of suffering applicants is - Should I go ahead and do another online application and send it? It will presumably create another barcode, and I'm worried it will cause confusion.

    you can do it online as long as your lawyer didnt forwarded any documents that involves ds-156 but the lawyer does just call uscis to correct them.

    note : if ur going to print new ds 156 print 3 copies of each cause u have to submit 2 copies and 1 copy for your file and be sure in 3 copies u got same barcode. goodluck in your process.

    We made a mistake on I 129f

    Hi everyone!!!

    Im having a bad day right now cos i just found out that the form we made a mistake on the I 129f form question 17//here it goes...

    Question 17.Is your fiance related to you?------we made a mistake by marking yes on it..

    then the follow up question is..

    If you are related,state thenature and degree of relationhip,e.g third cousin or maternal uncle etc

    here we put N/A=not applicable

    are we screwed ??please help...

    need your advice.................. :crying:

    were meant to get some of mistakes but i hope your partner will able to contact USCIS to correct such mistakes.

    Are there any forms that are needed for my fiancee to fill out before she gets to the port of entry in the US? Does she just need her passport/visa with cfo stamp and the brown envelope???

    before your departure in the philippines u needed your passport to have CFO sticker stamp by CFO staff with his/her signature. You should bring your brown envelop too and during your flight, flight attendant will get u form that u needed to fill up. Your firt step in USA is your POE u have to undergo immigration and custom check up.... @ immigration ready your passport, 94, and brown envelop. And at custom be ready to answer their questions regarding of the contents of your luggage.

    How much is the Doc. Verification fee in the Philippines?

    The topic post says it all.

    Interview is the 18th. Mayeth has received her letter from the embassy, but it does not state the amount of the document verification fee. In the examples for the text to delbros the amounts of "1300PhP" and "650PhP" are used, but I haven't been able find any mention of exactly how much the fee is.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. More questions are on the way. ha.

    delbros verification is php 650.00 and php 50.00 bank charge.

    Is the I-134 needed for the Medical?

    I Sent the huge packet of I-134 and all supporting documentation to Shuyan Fed Ex on July 2nd I am worried...She said she need sit to take to her medical appointment? I know I was finishing this under alot of presure I sent it sort of late but I wanted to have it perfect the cover letter and all the supporting evidence. I know Fed Ex takes a few days due to customs but I did not think she needed this for the medical exam? Anyways its all off now and sent signed notarized and ready ....Wish Us Luck!!!!

    After the medical does St Lukes hold the applicants passport and submit it to the embassy or it gets returned to the applicant?

    if u passed your medical at st. lukes your they will be the one sent them to USEM all u can have is the medical report and X-RAY

    i just want to ask po what valid id i need to bring for medical or interview i just want to know to be ready po! i have here avon id. its okay to bring it as valid ID?

    SSS , TIN , passport , any government identifications will do.

    during medical u just need to show your appointment letter and passport.

    during interview u will be ask 2 valid identification id but some will just ask 1.

    getting MARRIED in PHIL

    hi all!!!

    i have a dilemma pertaining to getting married in phil specifically in a catholic church... my mom send me this lists on what should be done/completed on my husband's end (requirements) before the church will marry us... my husband is not a devotee to any religion (although he do believe in GOD) and since we got married, we somehow attend to catholic masses in our area (just coz im a catholic [baptized, with confirmation])...

    i guess in short my question for you guys is that what should my husband and i will have to prepare for us to be married in phil... just the basic... i hope its not that complicated coz gosh we're just pulling this "getting married in phil" idea just 4 months before we go to phil and we'll be very very very busy w/ our jobs before heading there in oct in God's will... i hope it wont be that as complicated as to what the counsellor in our parish told my mom would be...

    church wedding is too hassles in Philippines i mean lots of requirements and seminar to do. But if your partner got enough time of stay in philippines u can marry at church and follow the steps.

    the very reason we get married in civil cause my partner's time staying in phils was 3 weeks. After he arrived we proceed to Consular office in Cebu since it is faster to get legal capacity there. Then after having his legal capacity i call local registrar and set an appointment and in 10 days we got our marriage license so the wedding rites follow at judge table.

    well maybe when we go back to phils we have to get marry again in the church :yes:

    Good day everyone!

    Im planning to pay for my vefication today but Im confuse to what family name should I use, my married name or my maiden name in sending text message to delbros about my payment?

    If the USE will verify my birth cerfiticate, marriage certificate and other documents, well it's still on my maiden.

    I hope someone could share there experiences.

    use what is in the application u sent , what is in your passport and other documents just be sure ur not using any abbreviations. Goodluck

    Can someone tell what is easy and fast way to get my future wife to the us? getting maaried here in the us or the philippines

    K1 is faster than K3 but when she will be in USA u are allowed to marry her in 90 days or else she will be deported. First thing that is needed is the pictures of u and her as a proof and the rest of them are emails, chatlogs, phonebills and other stuff that certify genuine relationship for both of you. Goodluck
