hi!!!, to all my kababayans whose here in the USA, is it hard to get a job here? ilang buwan kayo bago makakuha ng trabaho? is it possible to look and found for a job after one month of staying here in the US? how long do you apply and got a job?

My child always asked me to get her a pet because she never had one before, so... On July 1st. I secretly bought 2 bunny rabbits while she was in school. When I picked her up at school while driving on the way home I told her that I had a big surprise for her once we arrived home. She was so excited that once we finally reached home she quickly searched around the house and until she pulled the cover off the cage! I will never forget the look on her face... That smile she gave me was worth more than a million dollars to me.

is a student id or photocopy of NBI sufficient ID for Delbros when the deliver the visa to my fiance? they have her passport, obviously, and her original NBI is with the embassy

as long as the date is current for her student ID but i am not sure about photocopy of NBI ID but if u mean personal copy of NBI clearance it is valid.

Hey guys!

I just want to inform everyone that I'll be leaving for the US tomorrow, July 5. My POE is LAX. I'll be flying via China Airlines (no choice since PAL is fully booked!) and will reached LAX by 1405pm. I got a 4 hours lay over in Taipei... ugg. Anyway, this is the last waiting time since I'll be seeing my husband in just a day and I am very happy. We waited for almost a year to be reunited and I just miss him so much.

For info, I got a text from Delbros that my visa will be delivered around 7pm last July 1 and then I received my visa yesterday, July 3 - 12NN and then I immediately went to CFO to get my passport stickered/certified.

To all the people in here who's still in AR because of Docs Verification delay, please don't lose patience and just hang in there. Your visa's will come soon at a time when you least expect it. Just keep the faith and always remember to pray. I got my visa a month after I was interviewed.

congrats have a safe flight

We are leaving for Manila tomorrow morning for our PDOS at PRISM. All our bags are packed and ready to go!!!!!! And by Wednesday, we are bound for the US. I am having mixed emotions...Am happy that i will be with my Honey soon, but I am going to miss my family and friends.... Well, everyone experienced this i know, but I know i will get over this. I love my Honey and i miss him soooooo much already I cant wait to be in his arms again. To those still waiting for their visa, just keep your fingers crossed. There is always a rainbow after the rain. I know the waiting seemed long and difficult, but just be patient and dont forget to pray. Prayers can do wonders. It worked for me, believe me.

To all VJ members....GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A WONDERFUL JOURNEY!!!!!!!

Thanks a ton to VJ forum helping us go through this journey, I can't imagine without this forum how we could go through the process and get all the information we got here. Probably now I can laugh at it, from VJ it is not just my husband and I who became knowledgeable but also a very well known law firm in NY/NJ as well. Based on the information we had, my husband and I had to educate our lawyer to do the necessary step by step and still they made mistakes that costed us time and not to speak about the lump some money that we are going to shell out on them. Based on this bitter experience we both are smarter when it comes to lawyers now and no regrets as it was just my husband's love towards me that he insisted on hiring him so that things don't go wrong (Now I can say that ... after grumbling to him many times how dumb the lawyer is B)

My interview is on 28th August 8:00 A.M......... :dance: Now suddenly I don't know where to start from....packing and getting ready for the interview.... and to join my husband....

Thanks a ton again folks and wish you all the others a faster and smooth journey... I will have most of you all in my prayers.

She gets her visa late Monday night -my time.

She'll get here Wednesday evening.

We were lucky to know a great travel agent in Bangkok, Khao San Road. Lek called her after she passed and told her when she'd have the visa. Lucky! We got a seat when everything was full. I've used her service for years and she's great.

Just got off from NVC operator asking for the interview date if it has been assigned to our case yet.. The lady replied.. Yes it has.... I was like.. woow... which one. She said " August 27th, 2008 at 7:30am"

I am so much happy.. Called my husband and told him first.. He is also so much happy..

Thank You to all VJ members and visitors for all your support and well wishes.. I am sure i will need all that until my husband receives the visa on hand..

Again, Thank you so much.. and i am very much happy. I cann't express the happiness and excitment that i am having right now while posting this... No words at all..

Good afternoon everybody. My fiancé had the interview this morning.They told him to go back tomorrow to get the visa. We are so happy. We want to say thanks to all the people at VJ. try to call uscis of which center u belong and ask them when they actually mail your documents to NVC and u will know whats going on with your documents. keep praying that your documents are in good hand...

Hi. Got a question again about this brown envelope..I finally got my visa and this brown envelope.Delbros delivered it this afternoon. I just noticed that the brown envelope is kinda torn in one corner and that u can see the documents. Is this normal?Im kinda nervous if I did something wrong since I opened the plastic to get my passport. Anyone please advise. Thank you.

its normal and other than that u can call embassy and mail them back to them so they can re-check it and change the brown envelop..... goodluck

The POE is not equipped with medical personnel (radiologist) who can read and or interpret an x-ray. Save and use your carry on space for something important

This is what most people over-look. No one at POE can interpret the x-ray! The results of the x-ray are in the brown envelope, made all simple for the IOs to understand.

I only know of ONE person who has been asked for their x-ray, ONE, in all the thousand who are members here. And that was over 18 months ago.

your right but people got small luggage can hand carry them.... and it doesn't mean immigration officers have to look at it i never heard any said its being ask.... why we needed to bring xray with us, it is for EAD or AOS but some doesn't ask them it will only depends what is being asked.
