reading on extentions on VJ it is a fast process after the application and if denied,  the person can be hit with an overstay /I would not try for one  as there is no way an extension allows u to stay for years

Thank you for the information. Another question, there is an employer who is willing to offer a job. Can the employer apply  H1B while she in the U.S.?

  2. I just want to ask if someone can adjust from a tourist visa to an F-3 (in the U.S.). The parent is in the U.S. and is willing to apply for the married daughter while she is in the U.S. under a B-2 visa.

If her parents file I-130 for her and AOS, can she stay in the U.S.? while on a tourist visa, can she file for an extension, or does she need to go back to her home country while petition is in process.

    Thank you in advance.

  3. Hello everyone, I am a U.S. Citizen, and I have just filed a I-130 online for my mom. I am unemployed at this time but my husband will be my joint sponsor. I uploaded evidences and other docs for my parent and I via the USCIS website when I filed the petition. However, the online process does not have option to submit the Affidavit of Support, so I did not upload anything. I wonder if USCIS will send me a request for the Affidavit of Support online or via mail. Anyone have the same experience?  Thank youInsert other media

  4. Hello everyone,

I am a U.S. citizen and have pending applications (I-130, II-485, and I-600) for my minor child. His biometrics was taken last year and we are now just waiting for approval.

Now, I am getting married this month. Would this affect the pending applications since I put my status as divorced on the applications? Also, do I need to submit any forms to update my status to USCIS?

that is so strange. normally when you already submitted the medical together as a whole package, u wont get any deficiency notice. do they just requested for the vaccination record or the whole package?

The notice only states about the vaccination records. They want me to submit via interview (if any) or via mail if they send me a request for evidence. Which is confusing since I submitted the vaccination waiver, and it states on the I-693 form, Part 10 that no immunization record due to religious reasons.

  6. I am a U.S. citizen, my child is a minor. I concurrently filed I-130; I-1485, and I-601 for the vaccination waiver.

I received a notice for my son's biometrics appointment and a notice regarding I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination). I submitted an unopened envelope from a civil surgeon with his medical records, plus the vaccination waiver with statements, evidences, and check for it. I am wondering as to why they still need me to submit a vaccination record for my son, when I filed I-601.

  7. Good day to all,

I have just naturalized, and I am preparing for my child's green card application. He was born outside the U.S. and was not eligible for automatic citizenship from his dad due to some requirements that were not met. My child's father does not believe in vaccinations (religious reasons), so since we both share custody, we agreed to file for the I-601 vaccination waiver (Under INA Section 212(g)(2)(C) of the Vaccination Requirement). We are now divorced and live in different states, but we are still on good terms. I will be filing and signing for the I-301, AOS, and other docs, but I am unsure if I should be the one signing for the I-601 since my belief about vaccination has changed. Please advise if his dad needs to sign the I-601 with AOS, or just the I-601. Thank you!
