I am trying to see if my employer will let me work from India where my fiancé is for 6 months. 

Me and my fience have decided if we cannot get USCIS to process by December i basically move countries. I have a job in tech and a large employer with offices in a lot of countries and internal mobility is pretty simple. 

It is so frustrating. I dont even know what to do at this point. I am July 2021 and don't think I am going to go through the entire process in 2022. 

I really wish they could just charge a lot more for some expedited processing. This delay is so painful personally. I really am done with the excuses and mentally exhausted. 

Its friday before a long weekend so i assume the numbers will be lite today. 

Its just sad to see the slowdown, I am a July filer so not even sure how long i will be waiting.

Just want to write that out one more time. 116. That's... what... I just... if this keeps up, we're done practically by the end of February. Something happened this morning, more people were definitely put on us... maybe February did finish after all? But like. This is AMAZING. The winner today appears to be 655x with like 20 updates alone. But all of mid-March got lots of love.

I wonder if this is the covid restrictions that were supposed to loosen in CA today. If so hopefully we see the same pace going forward. 

0 approvals on valentines day by lunch. I was hoping they would be like lets make the day for a lot of couples but i was hoping for a bit too much.

Ugh USCIS, come on do some good move quickly.

Is that a public database somewhere. Or are you running a scraper and dumping it inside a local database ?

I am in the same boat and because I become a citizen a minor through US citizen parent. 

For cr1, the I130 would be needed right ?

And that is only processed at CSC not local field office. (looking at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/)

Great analogy. Often experience of switching lines  at grocery store isn't great. 

Yes, but if in a supermarket with 5 lines, should i join the longest line or join the shortest line. Specially if the longest line is twice as long as the shorter line and i can pick the line to join.   

Also reason to mention chicago is because I grew up in chicago so i have ton of friends there like i do in california now. So it felt like a the social cost of moving there is low for me. 

Hello all, 

I work at a job which allows me the option to move to other offices in USA.

I currently live in San Jose and my fiance is India. We were planning to get married end of the year in india but given the processing times on USCIS website for 23.5 Months to 30.5 Months  for CR1, we decided to file for a k1 visa and getting married in the USA instead. 

Now looking at next steps after she comes to the USA filing I485 (green card) (22.5 Months to 25.5 Months )  and I765(EAD) (15 Months to 21.5 Months). I am wondering if i should move to some place like Chicago where I can move keeping my current job, would help make the followup steps faster. As it looks like in chicago I485 is (9 Months to 19.5 Months). Though i am not sure where the I765 applications will go. Does anyone from IL know the answer to this , but all other centers seem faster then CSC. 

Hoping i can move to a place where I765 can get processed faster.  She is going to quit her job in India to come here, and hoping to work as soon as possible here and and a 15 Months to 21.5 months wait for ead seems a lot.
