hi i am new to this forum and am also a june filer. my fiance is coming in to visit for a couple months this weekend and i had a question maybe someone can answer. we are both pretty nervous about him getting past immigration since i have already filed the visa. the reason why he is coming is we just had a baby in august and he has yet to meet her!! does anyone know if mentioning this to the officer can hurt or help getting past? should he just keep his mouth shut about it?

Believe me I WANT him to do the interview. However, he still has NOT done his medical yet. Big, long story all to due with his health and a misunderstanding he had about having to have the interview letter. It's just a huge mess. You wouldn't even begin to believe the horrible 'luck' he/we have had this year.

I still hope you can work things out somehow and go for the interview cuz your situation must be complicated enough by now so if there is this chance to do this one thing in November that would help you be together then I wish it will work out for you guys

I just received 5, count them, 5 emails from USCIS stating they need more evidence?? (All the emails said the same thing) Are you F'ing kidding me? I called CSC right after I got the email and the guy told me that he had no idea what the RFE was for and I would have to wait for the snail mail to get here. I followed the Guides to the T listed here on visajourney and even aded extra pictures, phone records, etc for our proof of relationship.

I am so pissed right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though I either must be missing something or I dunno. Why wouldn´t your fiance go to the interview in November? Is that cuz of the medical condition doesn´t allow it? Cuz if you are at the end of K1 visa journey and you switch to K3 journey instead, the new process will take you so much longer now. People who are getting K3 now have to wait a really long time for everything to go through. Why don´t you get K1 visa in November and get married with that and then you can both be together in USA or Canada?

I am telling you guys...I think your average approval dates will be shorter than ours are Since they are finishing rest of May filers this week, they can start working on June´s filers next week and there are much less June filers so they will be done with us quickly and then the week after it´s your turn!

We were approved 146 days from filing, 140 days from our NOA1 date...

How do we expidite a petition and what is the timeframe for an expedite petition. To me, it is worth some extra money to expedite; heck, a trip to see my fiancee cost over $4,000 so it is worth something to help her get here faster.

And also surprisingly enough, there is a VSC late June filer The skinny viking and Luva who got approved at the beginning of October! Without being sent an email or case changing online. They just got it in the mail! Good to hear after all there is some action in VSC! Congratulations

I wanted to share my news with you all....that we received our NOA 2 in the post last saturday !!! So far I was only a quiet reader of this thread because I think my english isn't so well yet .

We were already approved like it seems on october 2nd. That is the date which stands on the NOA 2 letter. The only thing is that i didn't received an e-mail before and when i look at our online status it still says case received and pending . But we had it in the mail!!!! And our NOA 1 date was june 25th.

I have no idea why it went so fast for us. We are a normal couple like so many other here. I feel a little bad for that when i see that so many people who had filed before us are still waiting!

But I am also very very happy and maybe this will be a sign that it goes on also for all the june filers !

Interestingly enough, we received a letter from CSC saying that the petitioner called them and why.

We were getting soda at a fast food place today. Ordered one large soda. Got to the fountain with the cup and filled it in. I started drinking right away cuz I was so thirsty. I´m thinking: "hmm...it´s cold but I can´t feel any bubbles..." I gave it to my honey and he said "yeah, it´s totally flat". So we went to try other machines and sodas and it was all flat. So we wento back to the lady who sold us the cup and she said "yeah...it´s being taken care of"

Right. Like she couldn´t have told us while we were getting the cup. And ofcourse there were large families getting lotsa drinks sitting down with them or taking them in the cars. Nobody was told anything. And the lady.. she kinda just expected us to wait without telling us for how long. (Well we asked for a refund )

It´s just a silly story, but reminded me a lil bit of something else...hence what
