Hi Mary I'm in the same boat. I've requested for them to reopen it via support@ustraveldocs several times but they still havent done anything about it

Update: I got an interview for March 6!
Case escalated using US hotline: Feb 17
Case not found issue resolved: Feb 21

Hi guys, we've finally gotten our interview date! Some questions:
1. Petitioner has switched jobs - should we update the I864/AOS?
2. I've moved houses - should we update the DS260?
3. My NBI is still valid (expired June 2023) but the address is still my old one. Is that ok?
Thank you!

We are from Hawaii, so I called the one in united states. I tried calling the one in philippines but I was on the phone too long that my 20 mins calling card ended before they can even help me.
So I called them on Feb 2 and they said it will usually takes 1-3 days for them to resolve it after they escalated the case. Mind you, I've been checking ustraveldocs to see if the case would still say not found, and to my surprise it says not found but around the next week Feb 6, I was able to make a schedule
Thanks so much for this info! We just called and they agreed to escalate it, but said it was up to the discretion of the embassy. Not so hopeful but at least something is happening. Hope we get the same results as you.
They sent us an email receipt. Did you get an email after the escalation was "approved"? Or you were just suddenly able to book on CGI?

Hello
I didn't receive an interview letter, I was able to set up an appointment via ustraveldocs.
The case wasn't able to found as it was ready on Feb 1st. So I contacted customer service, and they escalated the case and around Feb 6 I was able to make an appointment for March 6.
Give them a call and ask because as far as I know once it's ready you can self schedule.
Oh wow, congrats! I've called 4 times and got the same standard response of "wait for the interview letter then we can escalate." They'd stop me before I even get to making the request. Are any of these the number that you called? (+632) 8548-8223 or (+632) 7792-8988
How long did it take for them to resolve the issue after your call at Feb 6?

Hi @Mary Bernard when did you get your interview letter? And was the 'case not found' issue resolved right after you got the notice? I'm still waiting for my interview letter 😔 Case status ready since Feb 1
-
Hi mary bernard, have you gotten the welcome email from the embassy? I'm in the same boat where I also got expedited, with my case now 'ready' on CEAC, but when I try to schedule on ustraveldocs it's always 'case not found.' When did you get DQd?
-
Hello, I backread the whole 20 pages of this thread lol. Just got DQd Nov 3 2022. If the ceac status says 'READY,' can we also just book it via cgi? Or is that only for expedited cases? What happens if I try to book an appointment even without an approved expedite request?
We're CR1 and there are plenty of slots open. I can see the earliest date available on the left hand side of the page. We've sent an expedite request, got acknowledgment, but no response yet.
Thank you!!

Hi guys, I got DQ Nov 3. I got advice that the Manila Embassy is willing to expedite so we've sent an email today.
My questions
1 - if in the occasion that we don't get expedite approval (or if they take a while to respond), how long will it take before I get an interview? Any recent cases?
2 - I keep seeing that once the case is 'READY' on CEAC, you can book your own interview on ustraveldocs/CGI. Is this just for expedited cases or for everyone whose case is READY?
Thank you

Quick update on my NVC case in case this is helpful for others - I got DQ from NVC this morning.
I originally submitted all my docs in early July, but then had RFEs in September, so effectively took 2 full rounds of review (can confirm the clock resets if you have to submit additional documentation / amend existing).
But very happy to clear another hurdle and now impatiently waiting for interview letter from London embassy... 🤣
When was your last submission?

Unfortunately got a review note 2 days ago to resubmit my birth certificate. I just replaced it and submitted it now - but the 'date uploaded' part didn't change, remained at the original upload date last Jul 12, instead of Sep 16. I know that we'll have to wait for 8+ weeks again for the next review, but I'm just worried that this would be lost in the July files and it'll never get reviewed. Is this normal?
-
Mine resolved in 3 days. Had the same problem too

This is my problem now!! Does it just magically resolve on its own?

Hi guys, I got an RFE last night for a stupid mistake - birth certificate. I already have the correct file, and I've been trying to upload it since last night, but everytime I click on the upload portal (it now says INCOMPLETE vs SUBMITTED), it just always lands on this application error page. Has anyone encountered this? I want to submit it ASAP so the clock can restart as soon as possible. Thank you!!

1 message from NVC in the CEAC inbox:
"Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate from a correct issuing authority. Please use our Document Finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable documents guidelines."
And I kept trying to detect what was wrong with it for a good 30 minutes - until I saw that the super recent birth certificates had a very slight change in the logo stamp. Back to the line, another 9+ weeks I guess, for such a small, small thing.... Was hoping to make it to Christmas

Submitted July 17. Just got ONE RFE for my birth certificate. Apparently my country changed the issuing authority's logo. I'm so angry I want to cry
-
Submitted July 17. Paranoid about the NVC's decision and racked with anxiety! Expecting to hear something Sep 23-25 given the current timelines

I've had this question as well. I messaged alot of the Hong Kong based VJ members and the response seems to be the same. When you apply at HKFP, they'll issue you a receipt, and that receipt is what you upload at NVC, together with a note explaining HKFP protocol.
I've just submitted mine. Since I'm out of Hong Kong for the meantime, I couldn't produce the receipt, and sending the requirements from abroad back to HK is just too much of a hassle. In the required docs, I marked Hong Kong Police Certificate 'document not available' and put a note explaining HKFP protocols, and that I've scheduled an appointment with them (I uploaded the email confirmation of my appointment) to make sure it reaches the US consulate in time for the interview.

Hi guys, any July approvals recently? By my calculation the early July filers should be getting approved by now, but when I check the timelines (and I do this neurotically lol) some June ones are still pending. I guess the timeline's extending to 9.5 months onwards... I'm going crazy lol

What's the current wait time for CR1/IR1/F2A candidates to schedule interviews at the US Embassy in Manila? I know there's still a backlog from the COVID delays. I see conflicting reports - sometimes I see people booking 5-6 months, sometimes less than 3 months. Any recent experiences?
Thank you!!

Hi guys, would really appreciate your help on these two questions:
1) For those who have recently been DQ, how long is it currently taking for the US Embassy in Hong Kong to schedule interviews? (If I check the timelines and forums back in 2021, it feels like a 2-3 month timeline is safe to assume)
2) And what is the usual interval between the appointment letter and the actual interview? (3-4 weeks from what I see)
I'm leaving Hong Kong for a few months and since flying back to Hong Kong has become complicated because of the changing quarantine measures, I'd want to time it as precise as I can right after I get DQ.
Thanks so much!! Any help will be super appreciated

Hi Mary, did you submit an I-864EZ during the NVC stage? And was it accepted?
We filled up the I-864EZ as well but just uploaded an updated one on additional docs because there are some changes. Interview's on Monday too March 6
