  1. I met my spouse online while I was waiting for my divorce to process. I think what is important is that you present alot of evidence of your relationship (letters, emails, phone records, chat logs, pictures etc) to the Consular Officer. There are many people who have been successful in getting a visa that share your circumstances.

  2. The Democratic Party in my view lacks a moral compass. The party platform stresses tolerance for alternative lifestyles, abortion on demand, bigger government, more taxes, environment extremism, an energy policy that continues America's dependence on foreign oil and a pacifiist "America is the problem attitude to foreign affairs". The rich already pay the majority of taxes and Obama wants to increase the non paying tax base from 38% to 50%. He doesnt have a good understanding of economics and just how is he going to change this country for the better when he has never exhibited any leadership or working across the aisle to pass legislation? It's empty rhetoric of hope and change. He is an opportunist who can't even speak correctly without saying "uh, you know, look, etc." He associates himself with radical Anti-American people like Rev. Wright. Obama claims he never knew of the anti-American or racist statements of his Pastor even though he attended the church for 20 years. I dont look to the government for hand-outs and dont want their involvement in health care. I want the government to provide a strong national defense, secure the border, create a good business environment and get out of the way. The Republican party lost it's way under President Bush, but McCain is not Bush. He has demonstrated that he will oppose his party when they stray from their ideals. Sarah Palin is a reformer who isnt sold out to trial lawyers and special interests. The media bias is obvious. Republicans have to run against Democrats and the Media. The only reason that the polls are favoring the Republicans now is because Americans are starting to pay attention. We need someone in the White House who can do more than give a good speech. America is a wonderful country, let's keep it that way.

  3. I used the services of Dr. L. E. Arnold's office last week. They will ask you to send them 2 signed copies of the I-693 Form (download from USCIS website. Send an additional copy of the I-693 with Part 1 filled out so they have your identifying information. I sent the Vaccination Documentation Worksheet (DS-3025) that my wife received at her K1 physical. The fee is $20. They will send you back a sealed envelope that you can submit with your AOS package and a copy of what is inside the envelope. I received my documents by priority mail and had them the same week I mailed them the forms. I highly recommend them. Please note that they are in Suite 114 vs. Suite 106 as mentioned above.

  4. It's interesting to see the reaction of Democrats to McCain's VP pick. All this talk about experience and how important it is while ignoring Obama's lack of experience. The real issue is abortion. Democrats want to protect this evil and any sign that the sacred right to kill your own child is in jeopardy and the left goes nuts. Most people in American can relate to Sarah Palin. She is hardworking, honest and ethical. The ethics investigation against her has no merit if you research it and find out the whole story instead of listening to Democratic talking points.

  5. I think you asked a legitimate question and some of the responses are inappropriate. I sought out to meet a Filipina 2 years ago and am now happily married since Dec 2007. Filipinas have a reputation for being sweet, loving and loyal. That is a stereotype and generally stereotypes are true. My best advice is to be yourself and be honest about your circumstances, likes, dislikes, values and preferences. I met my spouse on www.filipinaheart.com. You will need to have yahoo messenger (download for free from yahoo website) and a webcam (cost around $40). The website has a chat feature but its better if you can view the person you are talking to by using yahoo messenger. You will be contacted by women in their early 20's who will all tell you that age doesnt matter. Age differences are not such a big factor in the Philippines and more culturally accepted, however, that is generally not the case in the US. Red flags are requests for money soon after you meet or someone who wants to kick the relationship in to high gear immediately. There are some scammers who have multiple boyfriends and are only after money. Not hard to weed them out. Filipinas are very family oriented and feeling secure in a relationship is very important for them. In order to get a fiance visa you must have met your fiance within 2 years of obtaining the visa so you will have to travel to the Philippines to meet your girlfriend. I recommend the Philippines over Vietnam, Thailand and China since 93% of the population speaks English and it is a predominantly Christian country. Pay no attention to the naysayers and those who imply that your desires are inappropriate. Why fish in a small pond when there is an ocean out there? I wish you every success in your search. PM me if you want to discuss further.

  6. McCain made an outstanding VP choice. I stood up and cheered when I read the news on my computer. This choice has already mobilized the Republican party and in my view will result in a Republican victory. Sarah Palin has integrity and has demonstrated that she can get things done, fight corruption and achieve results. She has demonstrated judgment. Obama talks about his judgment but you cant point to anything he has ever accomplished that has demonstrated his judgment. He wasn't in the Senate to vote against the Iraq war and this is his only claim to fame. Joe Biden has been in the Senate for 30 plus years and like Obama always follows the party line. So much for change.

  7. There is alot of conflicting information regarding vaccination requirements and the new form.

If your physical is less than one year old, all that is required is the vaccination supplemental which is Part 2 of the revised I-693.

For $20 Dr. L E Arnold of Austin, TX (Civil Surgeon) will review your vaccination forms and transcribe the information on the new I-693. If additional vaccinations are required, you will be advised accordingly. You will be asked to provide two signed copies of the first page of the I-693 and a copy of your vaccination records. His staff is friendly and helpful.

    Dr. L. E. Arnold

4534 Westgate Boulevard, Suite 114, Austin, TX 78745

    (512) 444-3131

USCIS directory has Suite number listed as 106, but they recently moved the Doctors office

  8. I hired an attorney for my K1 for $750. I would leave messages for him and he would not return phone calls. I would email him with no response. Then I typed "State Bar Complaint" in the subject line of an email and he called me within 5 minutes. I did my AOS package myself without any problems using the guides on Visa Journey. Lawyers dont add any value to the process and are mainly a hindrance. Don't waste your money. If you initially call an attorney and voice mail answers the phone instead of a person then that's a good indication of the level of service you can expect.

  9. She should have his full name and possibly his social security number. You can locate him using USSearch.com or one of the other internet people locators. Contact him and see if he is willing to help you. If the US citizen initiates the divorce it will be recognized in the Philippines. The Filipina can not initiate the divorce. Her husband may be willing to go along with the divorce if it is non-contested and he doesnt have to pay anything. Some guys might think a divorce is not necessary if you marry overseas thinking that nobody will know of the marriage here in the US.
