Liberals want to use everyone else money for the common good, not their own.

I used www.earthclassmail.com. You get a street address. They will also open and scan your mail for you and forward it to you if you want. N400 allows for mailing address different than physical address. Worked for me. I am in Japan.

If you list the child he/she is eligible for K2 visa. My stepson received his K2 after medical and interview. It was only valid for 4 months. Even if the child doesn't accompany you it is required to list the children of your fiance on the K1 application.

You will send to the Texas lockbox for interview in Virginia. Include a cover letter and request interview in Fairfax, VA.

If she has her visa, she is good to go. Vaccinations are not an issue when she arrives in the US.

Make an appt online for an infopass appt. Select "Case Services follow-up appointment" and ignore the 45 day requirement. I was never asked for the Service Request ID Number when i went to my appt.

You may want to consider getting married instead of filing for the K1. The directions for the I-130 gives examples of who may not use the I-130 and one of them is " A stepparent or stepchild, if the marriage that created the relationship took place after the child's 18th birthday."
If I were you I would not want to put myself in a situation where my stepchild didn't have the option of joining her Mother in the US.
Tread carefully with immigration issues. Ignorance of the law can have unintended lifelong consequences.

The name on your wife's airline ticket needs to match her Philippines passport. Bring a copy of your marriage certificate in the event her green card and passport don't match.

It's interesting that when Democrats/Liberals disagree with someone they always make it personal. They cant stand on their own flawed policy so you have to attack the opposition personally.

You have the correct address listed. You should have received your NOA1 a week or so later and your check would have been cashed around the same time. You can make an infopass appt and have them check their computer to see if it is received. If there is no record of it I would cancel the check and resubmit using FEDEX overnight delivery next time.

Did you receive Biometrics Letter at the same time as the NOA or did it come separately?

Does anyone know the procedure for getting a visa for my stepson who resides in the Philippines to be able to come reside with his mother and I in Japan. Can we file the I-130 form and have him enter the US in Guam and then onward to Japan? Any advice appreciated.

I suggest you read this article by Dennis Prager. He tells it from a man's point of view.

President Obama will give him legal status. Of course that won't help your situation but he will be eligible for all kinds of public assistance.

Whether he would have died at a later time is unknown. What is known is that his wife was more concerned with her immigration status and boyfriend than her gravely ill husband. Her husband was admitted to the hospital in January. A Filipino doctor notified an American friend that there was a retired American in the hospital that had received no visitors in over a month. The American friend notified a local expatriate group who organized visits and raised funds for his medicine. It was only after the other Americans began visiting him that the family of Janaleze Hunt began showing up at the hospital. He has a stepson in Arizona who became involved with the expat group trying to help his father. His father wanted to be buried in Arizona. Janaleze Hunt's family opted for the burial in the Philippines.

Link shows pictures of Janaleze and her lover Albert Dermott of Virginia. He was very hostile to expatriates in the Philippines who were trying to assist Mr. Hunt with medicines. This expatriate group even offered a roundtrip ticket to Janaleze and she refused it.

N-400 Expedited Naturalization 319b Information
in US Citizenship General Discussion
Posted
We filed for expedited naturalization (319b) before departing for Japan. We did the biometrics in the US before departing the US and are awaiting the interview letter. Are we required to have a police clearance from Japan for the interview. We will only have lived here 2 to 3 months at time of interview. Thanks in advance for assistance.
