  1. Okay thank you all for the repsonse! We will try to apply for jobs and see what happens.
  2. Hello, my wife has filed for AOS and received our NOA1 on Jan 11 and completed biometrics in Feb. It seems like there is not concrete way of knowing when she will receive the EAD. I have seen in some cases its around 90 day, but then also heard it can be 8 or 9 months or more. She is looking to start studying with schools, so that could help her find a job oppurtunity. My question is how are people able to get a job offer without not having EAD on hand, don't companies require some sort of legal status? I have heard others who submit a job offer and their cases get expediated. What type of job does this have to be? Can it be any type of job?
  3. Is there a way to track AOS using some of the previous apps we used and to determine how long it may take?
  4. Okay wait I'm a bit confused. As of yesterday our case is showing as the status of "Ready" and its says "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular Section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment." We have not recieved any appointment letter or any letter on instructions on how to book an appointment. Should we wait for the letter?
  5. @4thntr I was looking at your timeline and wanted to see if you guys picked the interview date, or embassy have them the date for interview? Our case is similar to yours and is currently at the NVC and hopefully soon will go to the Mumbai consulate.
