Yes, i already had my interview and i was approved :D but i am missing 2 vacciness. So the ds 535 is not complete. How do you prove that you complete your vacciness? does the physician in jefferson city updated on the system or do you get like a form stating that you have all complete?

i assume that you send this proof along with the DS535?

    Congrats ❤️

Yes you do need your DS-3025 as proof, so they can transfer all your vaccines to the I-693.  That means they check what you have and put it in, with all the dates.

If you are missing 2 vaccines, they either way give you the vaccines which you have to pay for, or if you already have them and you are unsure, they offer a blood test and write it in.

I also had a vaccine book with me, I don’t know if it’s common in your country, if so bring that as well. It pretty much showed all my vaccination from an infant to current.

    Hope that clarifies it :).

Yeah, i am going to that facilirt too,

I am missing mmr and chicken pox but i had it when i was a child. So they accepted to checked both of them. Do they need to filled the I693?

Have you already filled AOS? sorry for so much questions haha i am just panicking about it Y_Y

    Thank you so much

If you finish the medical exam, they hand you out an envelope containing the I-693. That’s what you include in your AOS, keep it sealed or else it’s void.

I filed my AOS and got approved.

    hope you got this :).

    Similar situation here

and i am also in missouri did find a cs that accepted your vaccinations in the us?

Yeah I actually went to the one in Jefferson City, because it was the only option based on the USCIS website.

I still paid around 100-130$, but I didn’t have the chickenpox vaccine, they offered me to do a blood test (25$) or get the vaccine (additional 100$). Worked out with the blood test. Hope that helps.

Case approved for I-485 on 02/03/2023.  No interview required.  My case number starts with I0E which I understand to be the first 3 characters you get with your case ID when it's the new system / electronic system.

What's funny is the I-765 and I-131 are not approved.

I have some questions if anyone knows?

    1.  Does the green card include a tax ID number or social security number?  She needs this to file jointly on our taxes.

    2.  With a green card, you no longer need the application for travel document right? You can just..travel when you want?

    3.  With a green card, can you apply for an American passport?  Her Cambodian passport has some major limitations.  I want to take her to Paris, France.  It's always been her dream.

    4.  Do we know if the status will change when the card is mailed?  How long does it typically take to arrive?  Will we need to be present to sign for it?

    1. I guess, if you guys applied for the Greencard and Social Security (which was part of the form you had to file) then it might be sent separately. I have never done it so I can’t give you an accurate answer to this.

(If not, your wife could easily go to the Social Security Office with the Greencard and apply for a Social Security number. Take 7-14 days to receive the card/paper by mail)

    2. You can travel outside the U.S and get easily inside. Just be aware if you stay outside for too long the entry can be denied.

    3. Since your wife is not a U.S Citizen she can’t apply for a U.S passport. After 3 years of being married she can apply for naturalization and become a citizen, therefore can apply for a passport.

    4. Status will change.Takes 7-14 days to receive the greencard.  After a few days you will see: Card Produced and Card was picked up by the United Postal Service which provides you a Tracking number.

I hope I am  correct with all of em, somebody correct me if I am wrong with something :).

Placed a expedite request on Oct 3rd but no response so far. Called yesterday and representative was so rude and said once it’s pass 7 days they can’t do anything. Their answers are not reasonable.

I am a May filler and placed an EAD expedite the exact same day, still no response. KInd of funny, idk what to do based on your phone call experience with USCIS. Let me know if you get to know something. Kind of a struggle.

Hi everyone hope everyone is well. I'm in the June group and just wondering if anyone had to wait a little longer for their online access code.

we received our 3 letters on Tuesday but no 4th with the access code for the biometrics. i saw the last reply says within a week but wondering if anyone had to wait a little longer

The mail can take up to 30 days, if you haven’t received it you can inquire a new one. Just patience :)

  7. My Case went to "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS" after my Biometrics.

Apparently many people get the GC after 2-3 months, which seems to apply to people applying recently.

The only thing in my case I have to do is to answer the Request for Evidence and I guess I should be done soon...hopefully. Anybody else with the same experience?

Hi there! So I sent my file on May 26th and yesterday I saw on my bank account app that they cashed my check, but I haven't received any message or email. Do you guys know why? Also, I included in the envelope the CD with my chest X-ray that I made for my K1 visa interview, because that's what my physician said, but USCIS sent it back in the mail. Should I send it in another format? Did you guys sent something like that or it's not needed?

    1. Depends if you included any E-Notification  form beside your AOS in order to receive the NOA1 by Mail/SMS. If not give it some time about 2-4 weeks to get it by regular mail.

    2. Usually USCIS doesn’t want any CD’s, USB’s, etc. there is no need for any proof of X-rays.  Can’t really find the link for that, but there’s is a thread which describes it.

Never received my X-ray cd of my doctor and was never ever wanted. So shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Also I am reading some of the people (we were k1 visa) also sending prove of relationship photos etc. Is this required with these forms? Thanks

$1225 check is fine or paying by card whatever you prefer (I think you need the credit card/debit card authorization form for that if you pay by card)

We also included wedding photos for proof for the I-485, guess a few not a lot actually.

I am guessing you travelled by now. I hope everything went fine.

As of for me: I travelled during my K1 process as well and didn't get into any trouble. CBP officer even said "Ooooh, congrats!" after I told him that I am visiting my fiancé.

Oh yeah I did, was last year November. The CBP officer didn’t even ask for anything beside the K-1 Visa. Everything went smooth :).

But always say the truth and don’t lie when it comes to stuff like that at the border. Thanks for everybody helping ♥️

It is possible to find a Civil Surgeon who will just update the vaccination record, but sometimes you have to look hard to find one. We were in almost the same situation as you, and it shows that panel physicians don't always fill out these forms correctly. It wasn't flu season in Australia, so the flu shot wasn't required for my husband. The physician marked his form as complete, but added a note that it wouldn't be complete until he got the flu vaccine. We didn't know what to do with this conflicting information. When flu season came here, he did get the shot at a pharmacy. Then we took that record to a CS near us who had agreed to do just the vaccine update for us. It cost us $100. It's possible that he didn't need to do this, but we felt better having done it.

    This thread might help:

Thank you so much. It's kind of weird, I already searched for old threads on this forum, but seems like this kind of situation is odd or rare. I really hope it's possible, in my area, because there is only one certified CS which makes it even harder. I guess I am fine with dealing that, kind of annoying if you have no clue what to you should do and not do in that kind of specific situation.

Thank you for sharing your experience :)

  12. Hello,

I getting closer to my entry to the United States with a DS3025, unfortunately its not marked as complete because I am missing the flu shot.

The doctor stated that I would do it in the States. Do I have to do another full medical exam again in order to get my I-693 or is it possible to mark my action as done whenever

I get my flu shot in the United States?

I would file my AOS in the end of March or beginning of April. Maybe somebody can share some experience what would be the best advice. :)

I went on the germany us embassy site and saw that fiance k visas are processed this way.  https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/FRN_Frankfurt.pdf
This is definitely a different way and I know some other countries process this way, but they look at your documents, once they "approve" then you schedule your interview.

Ha ok I realized after the fact that I linked the travel.state.gov but that is where I ended up.  If you are talking about post documents sending, then I would blame it on the holidays.  I really dont know outside of that.  Someone in the germany regional sub forum would be able to shed light.

Yeah makes sense, guess patience is the key for the entire process once more. 😂 thank you for your response :)

  14. Is there anybody in the same situation where the embassy asks for the documents first in order to schedule an interview?

I have been waiting for 9 days now since I turned in the documents. The USTraveldocs webpage just gives me (since i filed it in early December)

Your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. You will receive an email once your request is approved.

I mailed the embassy about it and they told me to turn in the documents, but isnt that kind of unusual for that kind of long processing time? Any advise lol?

also my embassy asked me to fill out a DS 156. Which I cannot find anywhere 😕

    Congrats!

Yeah should be the DS-160. Never heard of the DS-156. Usually you find it on the CEAC site to file. Just of my experience, use Firefox, take your time filling it out, please be aware of not taking too long or else the website times out and you can fill it out again. Save your progress on every page, saves you a lot of struggle lol. Overall took me several hours to complete, because the website gave me too much of a struggle.

So, the package that I was tracking through DHL delievered yesterday. How much time does embassy take to turn the status into ready? Still says "In Transit" on the ceac status page.

Usually takes 2 days. The NVC sends the documents by DHL Express so 2 days for sending over, unless you have any national holiday or weekend in front. But after arrival it changes the same day to ready.

Yes, although we are waiting on the instructions (email/snail mail), we've already scheduled the interview.  I realize this is "out of order", but we're confident that the embassy will have the IMBRA check completed, and sent instructions by then.  One thing I don't quite understand is if the petition was physically delivered on 11/26, why would it show a ready date of 11/24?  Obviously if there is no update before her interview date, we'll need to reschedule, but we still have a few weeks left to wait.

Kind of weird, but interesting how every embassy handles it different. I received the instructions letter but the US embassy in Germany allows to schedule an interview once I delivered all documents. Kind of funny.
