  1. Hi guys,

Congrats to all who got approvals! :) *fingers crossed for our approval*

    PD 3/19/21

    AR 8/2/21

    Potomac

So checked processing times this morning and this was there...

    1. Estimated time range: 10 Months to 13 Months

Form type: U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21

Receipt date for a case inquiry:  March 20, 2021

Tried filing a case inquiry but I was unable to as I received error message that my case is within normal processing times.

Called in today and the agent said that I have to wait 36 more days to file case inquiry.... The agent said it's confusing but also said that it's completely normal. Has anybody else experienced this? Can somebody shed some clarity on this?

On a positive note they did confirm that my case IS being reviewed (since start of March 2022) so hopefully we will hear back ASAP! :):):):):(:)

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Y’all I think I’m loosing my mind. Was trying to nap and I got a notification from the app saying there’s some movement regarding our viza, I logged and there’s nothing, went to ceac and nothing.

I don’t know if I was dreaming or it actually happened….

    Hang in there! :)

I'm hoping for the same "I log in and the approval letter is there"

but radio silence so far.. What gave me a lot of hope was the actively reviewing status that showed in August 2021 for us... every month after that there is anguish...

and then it's so difficult to talk to an actual person at USCIS...

Anybody know what I should say if I can manage to contact a Tier 2 officer? I learned that we can submit a request and within 30 days they will contact you ... anybody tried this so far or actually talk to tier 2 officer? (don't want to waste the chance in case it works)

Just go on the uscis website and use the chat “ask Emma.” Type live agent and then select option “technical difficulties.” Make sure you do it during regular office hours, which is like 8-4 EST I think.

    Thanks for the suggestion everybody!

I was able to chat with a live agent before 4pm :)

So bad news is service center is now Potomac

estimated processing time 13 months to 16.5 months.. which as of today the receipt date for a case enquiry is June 8, 2020  😢 😢 😢

I am so disappointed and sad after learning this...

My wife and I were generally expecting approval soon since Nebraska cases seemed to be moving :(

They did not comment on the matter of the case status being processed quicker as it is being marked as under active review. They did confirm that the case is showing up as under active review so that is good.

This service center confusion is something else... I did file online so maybe they just mark all online cases as Nebraska Service Center on the receipt notice by default (which probably auto generates the next day).

  4. Hi All!

I'm a US citizen; filing for my wife (I130) in March '21. This forum is a lot of pages, but congrats to all of those who have finished their process or have received updates! :)

NOA1: 03/19/2021 (Filed online and got the NOA1 in the mail very quickly afterwards - it says Nebraska Service Center at the bottom of the page)

    Actively being reviewed since 08/02/2021

    Still waiting on reply...

What's really confusing to me is the difficulty getting in touch with USCIS or using their online tools..? Anybody else able to get through?

According to the processing times page, https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ , my case is outside normal processing time already and I haven't received RFE or any communication at all. Currently it says March 26, 2021 as receipt date for case inquiry.

However when using the Outside Normal Processing Time online tool, it auto denies me saying that case is "within normal processing times." What is the deal with this? Anybody else getting the same thing or able to get through?

Calling USCIS by phone is an absolute nightmare... the robo attendant disconnects without fail and does not have many options in terms of how it can help besides reading whatever info is already available on myUSCIS.

I sent a written message through myUSCIS inbox two days ago.. waiting on approval or reply. :( Didn't know what else to do.. 😕
