When sending proof of meeting like events we went to I notice some of my receipts are fading.
do you recommend when making copies make them on color paper or just keep them the way they are black and white with a note. Because I feel when you make color copies of them they can be look at altered or something.
or try to make the black color clearer
like copy below the date is there to the right and bottom receipt
the top right you see GST 2
With date near it

Black and white is fine. Color is fine too. Your choice.
You don't need to combine all the stamps into one page. Multiple pages is fine.
Probably just make a note on the page stating which trip it's for.
Ok thank you

So after my 5 trip in July I will go ahead and make copies of the passport stamps
My question is do you make copies in color because what if they faded and also what if the stamps are spread out in the book how do you add the copies in one page. Or do you just make multiple pages of copies.
does any one has a example of how they did it and show me an image,

Seconding this. You need to get familiar with the vocabulary and the process!
Yes I am looking at the overall process I agree with you though.

@Loveforyou43 unless the photo shows you doing something illegal then you can include it - as the above poster says you are focusing on the less important things photos are secondary evidence. Boarding passes, hotel reservations, and things like that are more beneficial.
The things I have is passport stamps
boarding passes
receipts of places we went
table mountain
roben island (prisoner where Nelson Mandela was
botanical garden
strawberry farm
water cruise
movie tickets

What's wrong with having a drink in your hand while at a party if you are of legal age?
I like your idea of having pictures from when you guys were just friends up until the proposal time. The pictures would show you have met the 5 trips, spent time with family and/or friends and were at different events/places/parties. A few pictures from each trip would make a great photo collection.
Awww thank you - what’s your story and where you from

Everybody will suggest as per their experience, it's all depend on individual consulate, USICS employee who will attend yours file. But whatever proof you will provide it will be sent to the consulate. And CO will check your proofs of relationship before your fiance will face them for the interview. I have two friends who have been asked to submit chat history, photos and intent to marry letter at consulate interview. Earlier I suggested to add some pictures when you were friends bcoz it will add proof to your true story.
In regards to friends I have some pics me and fiancé with friends we took at my first trip is having a drink in my hand bad to send,

So I am a US citizen and my fiancé in South Africa Cape Town. We not doing k1 till aug. but right now so I created a share album on my phone and share it with my fiancé. I am going through my 5 trips and adding pictures in the album to see which ones we pick .
my question some saying take some pics when we were friends. Some of those pics have me with a liquor drink in my hand.
like the pic below this is my first trip to South Africa went to a party and my my fiancé was there I am the one with the drink
what you guys think of this pic
I thought when sending pics do a timeline with pics from friends to current proposal

You should add some of pictures when you were friends ( dont forget to mention the date and occasion) when you see the pictures you will feel what needs to be added.
I thought about doing the friends thing until now proposal but if it might be like 30 pics

I’ve noticed a lot of people who work in immigration are apathetic. They are overworked and don’t seem to care. Hopefully things get moving. Good luck to you. I wish you the best!
Do anybody here who went through the k1 visa process help with choosing right pictures of If I share a album with pics with them

I’m certainly no expert but I do think you can expect a wait. If you haven’t already filed the I-129 and been approved you are really at the beginning stage. USCIS is taking a while to process and so are consulates. For example, we filed in December 2019 and am yet to interview due to COVID. I’ll let others chime in but have you considered the CR-1/IR-1? My home consulate is processing those and only now beginning to start K1 processing. It’s something to think about. But if you’re saying they don’t have many K1 visas then maybe stick with that route. Prepare your mind to wait while hoping for the best. I’ve cried so much through this process and am
finally starting to learn how to live with the frustration and try to be patient
Sorry to hear where are you from and your fiancé

SA is not a consulate, even with an age gap, that would warrant front loading

Do not send phone logs. Any non-required extra detritus sent with your petition is sent at your own peril, with all the extra time it will take to adjudicate.
True thank you

Intent to marry letters are a core requirement of the I-229F. Wedding plans are not. No one is required to provide wedding plan evidence. At the interview, the CO may ask the fiance about wedding plans as one of the ways to determine if the relationship is real, but I have not read where anyone needed to provide evidence.
@Loveforyou43 before booking anything, read carefully any contracts you sign. Many places tell you verbally that bookings can be changed or cancelled, but there are certain portions of the deposit that will be stated as nonrefundable. Make sure the contract states 100% refundable and there are no hidden fees. Also, get a receipt for the deposit.
I definitely will

You can’t prove a relationship. That would require someone to be able to read your mind and know if your feelings are genuine.
You can (but don’t have to at this stage) provide evidence that supports your claim that the relationship is genuine.
Wedding plans and details are not required. USCIS is not interested in the venue, menus, dancing, etc. Keep the petition simple and provide what is asked for, not what you think they should see.
Good thank you

If I want to submit proof of communications using my phone logs, what do I send in terms of years of calls. Like we were friends for years before dating. We didn’t officially started dating until may 2019. So when you send phone logs how many you send and how. Do you send a few pages per month from the month you started dated to current. Or just a few showing current on going relationship. Like how ?
like few months prior to sending i129for how ?

What country are we talking about? For some countries it might be beneficial to frontload and already send stuff like this with the petition. For others it's just fine to go with the basics and bring more evidence for the relationship to the interview. If you're sure that you can get a refund go ahead, schedule it and send it with the petition. It won't hurt.

If you don't have to prove a relationship, then why are people who have met once within 2 years getting denials for K-1 visas?
Of course, you have to show a real relationship to get the K-1.
If meeting within the 2 years was the only requirement, then a lot of fake couples would be getting K-1 visas.
So adding wedding plans be good if you are garantee a refund
