We married in December 2016, we never had any interview, I got a temporary green card that is expired, I entered on k1 visa.

I obtained 2 year green card but it's expired and I don't have it as USCIS took it away from me when I requested I551 stamp. I never had any interview, nor did I receive any RFE.

I entered on K1 visa. Never had an interview, which means USCIS felt satisfied with all the evidence my ex submitted to then. Now all of the sudden they are preying on me trying to accuse me of fraud. Never gotten RFE or interview to explain myself.they talk about my fraudulent motive and intent that I was planning to come for better life, which is not true and didn't spend time with my ex, which is also not true.

Thank you everyone for your input. My attorney filed both I-360 and I-751. I-751 was denied and I-360 is pending, but most likely it will be denied too. I am not with my attorney anymore. She is not empathetic and advised me to leave the coutry. I'm trying to research, get knowledgeable and find the best solutions to get out of the mess I'm at. And yes my anxiety is taking over me and I'm very worried, cannot sleep and leaving in fear from 'unknown'. , as nobody really can tell me what Uscis is planning to do. I'm scared

Also another question for everybody : do you guys know anybody who had NTA and was detained/lost his job? If I go on vacation abroad can CBP detain me if I do not have a stamp/or even if I do as they will see that my status was terminated? I'm afraid USCIS will give me an appointment for a stamp in one month and in a meantime I have nothing to show to prove me legal presence... I am also afraid even if I file I-751, USCIS will refuse me the stamp and make me wait for a receipt for 2 or 3 months..

Thank you! The lawyer just suck more and more money from me. When discussing denial I caught her on not knowing about I-290B and she also did not present me other options to take since the denial. She just told me I have to go back to my country because I'm illegal now.

I had a good job, $43k on my bank account, car, and moved to the states only from love to be with my ex. Never married for a GC. I never cheated and never left to live with somebody else. I do suffer from constant nervousness, anxiety, depression after all the accusations and USCIS denial. I'm attending therapy. I have a question. How does filing I-751 work. Am it really allowed to file again based on the same waiver? Maybe I have to change the waiver to for example hardship? I'm scared if I was denied, they are going to deny me again and all the money, effort, time spend on making the application and waiting next 3 or 4 years may be useless...

I'm sure my ex husband send multiply letters to Uscis and I wouldn't be surprised if he also send statements with derogatory comments about me from his family and friends. More questions: 1.Can I travel domestically with my driver's license to another state or TSA will have my immigration information? 2.Also if I file i-751 and have to wait for a receipt up to 6 weeks, will Uscis give me a stamp right after sending a file? What evidence will I need to show that I really send it? 3.Maybe USCIS officers are also incompetent and when they see my i751 was denied, they refuse me a stamp and kick me out or arrest me? 4.Can Uscis deny my new I-751 with modified, but mostly similar evidence right away after checking that it's the same waiver and similar evidence, citing bad cause? 5. If I go to info pass appointment/or the airport, can ICE arrest me? 6. My attorney told me I am considered illegal and cannot work, unless I got a stamp, and then I will be legally present. Why does she say that? 7. Can they check and fire me from work? 8. I need 2 weeks to obtain some documents to attach to my file. I'm thinking of filing both motion to reopen (I-290B) and new I-751. I would only file the first one, but I read in order to get a stamp in my passport (to continue work) I would need to refile a new i751. Do you know if I can file both forms or just pick one? No attorney is sure... Do you know if I can work without submitting a new I-751 until uscis adjudicates my motion to reopen? Do you know if I can still get a stamp, without filing a new application? I never sent psychologist reports nor medical or police records with my I-360 vawa. My case is pending since 2019. Can I get counseling now and send them a report or it's too late? I still have nightmares about my abuser.

Hello! I received a decision that my I-751 divorce waiver was denied and my status has been terminated. Can I go to work? My lawyer wants to see me in one week. I believe we will discuss my options. But can I continue working?

I agree. I sent numerous letters and never got an answer. Congressman and senator do not do much either. They inquire about the case and uscis usual reply is to wait, case is pending, under review, issues with the case etc...

Does anybody feel that USCIS is totally disrespecting immigrants who follow the rules? Not giving us any info about our cases, disregarding our inquiries, prolonging adjudication, extending processing times, no contact with officers, adding new fees.... I'm tired of waiting for over 3 years

Yes, they inquired to USCIS many times and the answer was that my case is still under review, pending, has issues or in background check...it felt like they didn't even check what's going on but every time sent a generic letter to get rid of me..

November 2019- submitted I-360 March 2020- RFE for good moral character No prima facie, still waiting. Senator, congressman and Ombudsman did not help.

Hi. I have never received any letters. I think the administrative closure was a mistake. I made an info pass appointment so they can explain me the issue. Case status still says I'm scheduled for an interview for 1y.8 months now. I need to go on vacation. The anxiety is killing me.
