I imagine you just spent close to two years ( waiting for him to come /K-1 process)..and he is not adjusting to life in US . Will you stay long distance married or are you considering going back w him?
Holding on till AP gets here will give him the chance to come and go …cause unless you go back w him, abandoning the AOS will greatly strain your relationship.

Look into expediting the AP, review qualifying reasons and give it a shot

The wait will test your patience, how strong you are as a person and even the love you have for one another. If the budget allows for it, make trips to see each other in a new country or place that allows both your passports. Or better yet, move to a different country where you can both stay 3-6 months.
We applied in Nov 2019. Fiancé finally moved to the states in October ‘21, nearly 2 years of waiting - and now we’re still waiting for her GC interview.
You haven’t waited long - do what you can that is in your control. Learn about the next steps and get docs ready, organized pdf’s on your computer.
Plan trips, watch movies/documentaries and discuss, focus on the positives as best you can.
Wishing you both a quick & painless acceptance!

You have to do some searching but there are direct flights to cancun and mexico city from moscow and st pete. It’s easiest to search for weekly schedule first to find out which days they offer direct

Made a list with my fiance (from Russia) based on countries we both can enter base on existing flights and entry restrictions:
    - Belarus (I don't recommend based on current political/civil battles)
    - Egypt (dirty but ok)
    - Mexico (cheap, safe in most areas)
    - Serbia (nice, but cold)
    - Tanzania (unsafe, expensive to travel to)
    - Turkey (went there last august, was wonderful)
    - UAE (expensive)

The list gets much longer when you're already in one of these countries, adding places like Antigua, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, etc. Since Mexico is near many other available countries, we recently decided to temporarily move to Mexico together (up to 180 days) while we wait. If this fiasco continues another 5-6 months, then we'll simply hop to the next country and repeat.

Originally applied for K1 November, 2019. Everything accepted in Moscow April 2020, have been waiting for an interview ever since.
Hope this inspires someone to move abroad! With all the work from home these days, it IS doable. Or eat into your savings like I am.
