  1. My immunization record seemed incomplete for MMR so my family doctor issued me a req for me to go to lifelabs to get tested for immunity on things I was unsure of. Took no time at all and I got the results back within 72 hours. Family doctor emailed me the documents and I have them printed for the medical. Super easy!
  2. So it looks like so far, the most recent DQ date to get an interview letter is March 1. Anyone know if this is officially how far they got or did it extend out a bit more than that?
  3. This is so great!!! So amazing to see they are FINALLY in March!! Hopefully I'll see something by July for April 5!
  4. Not for me - but again I'm April 5th so I wasn't expecting one. I haven't heard a thing about others yet either though.
  5. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I find this thread is getting really confusing with non-CR1/IR1 folks posting their DQ and interview dates. @bobo123 I recommend using the appropriate thread posted above by mam251. I understand that you mentioned the other thread isn't getting updates, but this thread won't help you get the information you need as this is CR1 and IR1. Thanks!!
  6. I feel like we have heard from some, but did anyone get an interview letter this past week? I have a feeling the next one will come out this week coming. I'm interested to see how far out people are getting their letters. I hope some people with March DQs will see some movement. April 5th over here and am thinking I won't get an interview until September-ish if it stays at the slug pace it's been. Best of luck to everyone!!
  7. Ohh okay. I heard these ones are a bit further behind than the CR1 and IR1s. Hope you get some movement soon!
  8. From what I understand, it should be an issue. You can just bring your information with you to your interview. If you are travelling, just make sure you are proving a return ticket and ties to your home country such as work and what not.
  9. Thanks! It's interesting because I feel like it's a while since I heard them ask for additional photo evidence of relationships. It used to be pretty common. Again, Congrats!!
  10. So glad your interview went well! When you say they requested photos, do you mean your passport-style photos or photos for evidence of relationship?
  11. Are you waiting on Montreal? I believe they were issuing interview letters for around that DQ time. Hopefully yours will come soon! We DQ'd April 15. I'll be lucky to get one at Christmas at this rate LOL Yes - I'm being dramatic haha
  12. Amazing! Thanks so much! I feel like the waiting game honestly just makes my brain work in overdrive and I panic about things that are likely easy to fix at the end of the day. PHEW.
  13. So I just realized something and I feel super dumb about it. I've been DQ'd already and I just realized that I said that I do not need a new SSN card. I have one that says "Authorized for DHS Work Authorization Only" and it has my maiden name on it because I worked in the US previously. I probably should have selected Yes so I got a new one with my new name and without that verbiage printed across it. Is it too late? Can I fix that up with the interviewing officer? Ack! Not sure what I should do. Maybe I'll just have to go to the SSN office as soon as I can when I get to the US on my Visa after it's approved. Did anyone else ever deal with something like that??
  14. Oh! That's interesting about your wife's visa! As we all know, this process isn't all that predictable!
  15. From what I understand, this should be fine. However! You won't have the full 6 months to enter the US after receiving the approval. The 6 months to enter the US timing starts to tick away based on the medical. So for instance, medical is April 26, Interview is June 26 - Latest time to enter the US after approval would be October 26. The closer the medical to the interview date, that more time you have to the enter the US after approval. Please someone correct me if I am wrong! This is what I have seen on some threads in the past. Edit: Crazy Cat confirmed above
  16. I am late to joining this thread! Sorry all! I-130 Approved Feb 26 NVC Received March 3 Files submitted March 19 QC'd April 5 Andddd you wait lol. Fingers crossed Montreal starts picking up the pace! Lol actually - I feel like maybe I was in this thread. I can't keep track anymore...
  17. Totally! I'm am certainly not mad or complaining about the spreadsheet Just wanted a bit of insight on recent trends. It's a lot of work to maintain that spreadsheet. So many people to deal with.
  18. Thanks for the stats site!! That's great I have seen the spreadsheet but it's hard to know how up to date it is - mine says I'm still at Nebraska but I got moved to Potomac and then to NVC in March. It's definitely a great tool to see the past times
  19. Just trying to go through the thread to see where ILs are at. Looks like it was end of Jan/Early Feb got their letters last week, right? I wonder what DQ day was the cut off so I can try to get a realistic expectation for mine. I only DQd April 5 so I am thinking I'll probably get mine in July. Would be nice to know many people people get DQ'd per month though! Congrats on everyone who get their date and I hope everything goes super smooth at the interviews
  20. Maybe you will hear today. I am probably wrong in this next statement but I heard that sometimes the letters go out over the course of 2-3 days. Fingers crossed you hear soon! I DQ'd April 5 so I probably won't hear for a while yet.
  21. I'm DQ'd so I'm thinking of this too. I'm only an hour away from Montreal but with the horror stories I've heard of delays for visa, I'll likely drive to Toronto for medical instead just for peace of mind.
  22. "They" is the customs agent lol. That's exactly my question - would they not allow me in the US because I have a pending visa with an interview lined up or does that not matter at all? I suppose if I had a return ticket scheduled it would probably not be a problem but I just wanted a bit of insight to see if it could cause any problems at the border.
  23. Hi everyone! I got DQ'd on April 5 and really don't expect to receive my interview letter until June at the absolute earliest, which in best case scenario would be an interview in August. My question is - am I able to travel to the US in between my interview letter and my interview or will they flag my account and send me back home? It's not a mandatory trip to the US, however, it's pretty important to me. I keep hearing mixed things but thought I'd ask for a bit of insight from fellow Canadians that may have experienced this. Thank you!
