Hey all I just wanted to get some of your opinions about your estimated adjudicated of approval for K-1 visa. I now they move up and down, but if you've gotten your approval how right was the estimated time??? I've been waiting 154 days for my K-1 through CSC, and my date says Oct. 30th Let me know what yours was. Thanks!

Are you sure you entered your number correctly? Maybe you accidently hit an incorrect number.

Yeah, I made sure, I just called again, and now it tells me the same things thats online, so I guess they still have my info. You guys I'm really depressed right now, there are so many people that have filed after me and have their approval. I know there are probably more that have been waiting longer than me, but I'm so depressed, I just want to hear something...........anything, I miss Rodgers so much. It's not like he's just a few hours flight away, I'd have to spend two days and 2500 dollars that I don't have to see him again, I'm so depressed right now. I wanna know what happening with my petition.

It sucks that others are getting approved before you but remember that everything happens in its own time. We can all sit here and speculate as to how long all this is going to take, etc but only USCIS really knows and we all know how reliable they are

Your approval is coming, it is just a matter of time.

Hey please help, I called CSC today> I filed a I-129F 152 days ago, I was told that my case was assigned on the 6th and got a touch on this last friday, it was not from a phone call. Today I checked web site expecting to see something, and no touches no change in status.

So I called USCIS, a few minutes before 5 pm EST and when I entered my case number it said, sorry we cannot process your information at this time....

What does this mean???? Does it say this after hours???? I thought they closed at 5, and wouldn't the automated line give info 24/7??

wow, please tell me what you think.

I called USCIS today using the RFE prompts and spoke with a nice man who said my case was assigned to an officer on October 17!! WOOHOO!

To those of you who have already been approved, how long does it usually take for an approval after ithe case has been assigned?

I was told that my case had been assigned to an officer on 10/15 and I am still waiting

My case was assigned on the 6th and still waiting, but I did get a touch yesturday. So maybe monday approval

June Filers are being approved now....all May Filers must be already completed !!!

There are still May filers that have not been approved yet. I am at day 148.

Yes, I read what you wrote. I'm hoping the three of us as well as all of the others waiting, hear something soon. It'd be a nice belated birthday gift for me. I called my fiance in Japan (he's driving to work) and told him about the phone call and he's excited too. His first question was "When can I tell my boss I'm going to quit?" I told him to wait until we get the actual approval...lol He's getting a bit anxious too

Hey guys, I'm really trying to stay positive, but I'm noticeing that people are getting their approval and they filed after me.....wow, I'm finding myself becomeing really short tempered with my daughter and with everything. And I keep thinking..."what's happening with me?" But then I realize everyday more than once I'm checking the website to see if we're approved, and nothing..........it's like a let down everyday.

Someone told me that I was assigned and then I called back last Friday and someone else told me that I was assigned on the 6th, but still nothing...I'm starting to get a little discouraged and I almost wanna stop checking the website.....

Is it when they give me a case number finally or when it's all done including the interview?

I'm very confused about it right now.

My understanding is that it means that it will be processed at that location, I'm filing for a K-1 fiance, and it gives me the timeline of 6 months. But then it has other steps that it needs to go through, like NVC, and then to his embassy, which makes the time a little longer. Hope this helps, maybe some others with more experience will give you more info.

Did you call and use the RFE to find out? I hope we get approved very very soon. Like you I want to be with my fiancee for the hoidays. Good luck

Yeah, I called twice the first time I asked about an RFE, and then the lady said, "your application was in route to an officer" that was on the 5th and this last friday I called again and I talked with a man he said, "You case was assigned on the 6th, so give it a few weeks if you don't hear anything than call back."

So yeah, I hope I will hear something this week, I'm sure it will happen........maybe by Tuesday.

okay, I'm really new at all of this, but when foreign fiance gets married doesn't that change everything when it comes to status and working??

Okay, thanks for you advise. So what I'm hearing corect me if I'm wrong......JFK is the only one that's known to do that. And it's only good for 90 days, what happens when we get married and apply for AOS. can he not work then?

Hey okay, I seem to have a lot of questions tonight....I heard that depending on the airport you the foreign fiance can get a work authorization stamp in their passport at the point of entry.IS this true, and if so does anyone know about Seattle?? And if not, what airports might it be available at, and would it be worth it to fly into one of those intstead????? Just a thought.
