Hey you guys!!!! I feel like I'm dreaming!!! I just called USCIS today and found out that we got our approval yesturday!!!! Oh wow, I'm so excited that finally this part of the wait is over!!!! Oh pinch me!!!!!

Thanks U2rsobad and Zee and everyone else!!! I'm so, wow, I don't know what to do with my self........okay, I guess now I have to get the rest of my papers together. Oh and by the way I asked the lady about the time that its taking to forward to NVC and she said, "yes we did have a back log for some time but as far as I know approved apps are getting forwarded twice a week again, like they used to be" And that's a quote, although I don't know if she is telling the whole story, or even is she knows.

I got a RFE today....! Almost 6 months and a RFE!!!??

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bloody hell, Mirla. THAT sucks. BUT.... hopefully it's something easily taken care of and then... once that RFE gets turned in, they are stellarly quick about turning the petition around. So no worries! You're almost there. HANG TOUGH HONEY!!!!

YES!!!! A RFE!!!! BLOODY HELL!!!!!!!!!! I hope the same thing Sienna, really! I just realized that could've been my approval if it wasn't for that RFE!!!!! I'm praying it's something easy and fast to get!!!!

I have no idea what it can be about....we sent what our lawyer said....but you know how's the deal with some lawyers....

Well everybody----I took the big chance and called again today----The lady was pretty nice. she said my case was assigned on october 15!!!! But the officer still is reviewing it!!!! I have had no touches, no nothing, I'm about to lose it-----sorry to say -----the FORMER patient one, Alane & Ramzis

I'm so sorry Alane I know how hard this is, so I'm going to keep hoping extra just for you so you don't end up patiently waiting to kill the officer that's taking forever! I bet he has a hard time making decisions at home to, like what to eat for dinner, what to watch on tv, etc! It just shouldn't take this long!

Alane, I'm with you today, I feel like I'm going insane. My daughter spent the night in the emergency room, I've had maybe 4 hours of sleep. And on top of that nothing from CSC, I'm going insane now, I tried to stay postive but now I'm failing misserably. I'm crying with you, I think is the time when we need fellow Vj'ers to come and help us up.

IM WITH YOU BOTH ... even we were approved yesterday its okey, i can feel you pain, dont failing you because you are not alone

Thanks after, I don't want to be impatient or ungrateful, cuz I know that people are still waiting who have been waiting longer than me. But I just feel so hopeless right now. I feel like they have my life in their hands and they don't care at all about what we're going through. I haven't seen Rodgers in 7months, and I miss him so much!! I was hopeing that we would be together for the holidays but now it look like that's not gonna happen. I feel like all my dreams are crashing........the church that we reserved to have our wedding at called me a few weeks back about the details of our wedding, because we booked Nov. 10th, thinking that the visa would be done by then. I had to tell them the bad news that he wouldn't even be here. I feel like he's never gonna get here. I don't know what to do.....I'm so sad right now. I miss my Honey, I'm just overwhelmed....... I feel like CSC doesn't even care about what I'm going through. DO they even know how it feels to be seperated from the love of their life??? Do they know how it feels to have to prove your love for someone before you can marry them?? This is horrible, I hate this process.........And this is day 162, I can't believe that I'm still waiting.

I know every approval situation is unique. Some people get touches, others don't, some get emails, others don't, some just get the hard copy--------all of this has me right to the edge. I am truly pleasured for everyone's success but it stings to see people having June and late June approvals when our are still sitting-----BUT afterall, I'm the patient one, Ugh! Alane & Ramzis

Yeah im trying...the reason i get nervous about a second RFE is because my lawyer sucks!!! The first one was because of a document she forgot to have me sign according to her, but when i called in they said it was that and that a question about wether i have ever been acused of a crime was never answered, and when i went to see the lawyer she ONLY had me sign a paper...i called her and she said that she answered the question for me, but at this point i dont know if i could trust her...

I'm sorry that your having to go through this, I didn't use a lawyer. So I have only my self to blame if something goes wrong, which I believe won't, but I can't imagine having paid all that money, just for an RFE that was so simple. Sorry Byron,

Seeing these touches and nothing happening in result of the touches is killing me!!!!!!

Byron----listen----we have got to stay positive----we've got to----we can't let USCIS get the best of us-----I AM CERTAIN that your documents are fine, Alane & Ramzis

Yeah, just stay positive, I don't think that they can give you two RFE's, if there was something else missing they would've seen it when they looked the first time. Just be strong, and know it's coming really soon okay.

I called in and all they can tell me was that it was still being processed and to wait about 30 days....

I told her was there a way she could look and see if there was anything else my case might need and she said no i can't see details about your case....so i asked her , is what i have on my computer screen all she has....she said yes......so they really have like regular operators just seeing what we see and nothing more...whats the point...i called using the RFE trick...well since I really did get a RFE, its not really a trick....i thought they were able to see more than what i could see....guess i was wrong, or i got a lazy person!!

UGHH, I'm sorry...keep hanging in there, it's all we can do, and try to stay busy that will help...Hey, just go trick or treating tonight!!! GOOD TIMES LOL

Byron, I think your getting your approval. Or maybe you already got it but they didn't update and the extra touches are them moving into the mailing area?????Mabye, I'm not an expert but it makes sense to me...... Did you call them and find out about all the touches??

Nope. I called Monday and they said it was in the holding area waiting to be shipped. I am planning to call back next Monday for an update. I keep getting the same customer service rep. so he does not mind giving me info.

It sucks that you are still waiting for your approval. Let's hope this is your week. I am sending positive vibes your way.

Hey what's up with CSC??? They've been quite for two days...........

Good afternoon my fellow May filers...geez..I expected to get online here and see lots of approvals from over the weekend..what's up CSC & NVC..my friends need their approvals!!!

I also checked the USCIS website on my case and it still says "pending" As long as I have my NOA2, it's fine, but kinda wierd they still haven't updated it. Hey afterforever, did they update yours?

ramzis, mirla, byron, rodgiegirl (and all other May filers of course) I'm thinking about you and ready to do the happy dance with you as soon as we hear your good news!

Don't worry. We're in the same boat. It has to come eventually. Just think of this, maybe by the time we get ours the back log to NVC will be gone, and we'll be forwarded immidiately (yeah, spelling is horrible) It'll come, hang in there with me.........
