Received work authorization card and SSN shortly after this post.

Contacted a live agent earlier this week via chat and asked "if my case has been reccomended for interview?"

Agent notified me that my interview has been marked as waived.

Online portal still says "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS"

Not sure what to make of this, but hopefully a speedier GC approval!

    Anyone have experience with this?

I see most people getting interview waived a lot recently. Maybe that might be your case. Figures crossed 🤞

December 6, request for evidence (I-864) missing signature.

My previous application was denied because of waiver (I-612) required to adjust status.

Its a journey this is my second interview my I-130 was approved with my first submission for AOS

Ok. Thx for the reply. All the best in your coming interview.

    Hi everyone!

I have just had my interview and it was approved on spot!

The officer didn't ask much questions, only when is my husband's birthday and my husband had to tell what is my full name, date of birth and what country I am from. And that's it! He made copies of our marriage certificate and kids birth certificates (we already have kids together). Most of the time officer spent just entering information into the system :)

    Congratulations

    Hi everyone!

Just wanted to check if anyone else is still waiting on an update?

I see a lot of people getting their EAD's approved or getting their interview scheduled. It's making me nervous cause I haven't heard anything since December 31st.. See my timeline below.

    11/14 Mailed AOS Package (I-485, I-130, I-765 & I-131)

11/19 NOA received for each application

    12/04 Biometrics appt scheduled

12/11 Request for initial evidence for I-485

12/28 Biometrics appt completed + evidence received

12/31 Status changed to actively reviewing for I-485 & I-765

I'm was really hoping I could go back to Belgium in August to visit my family and friends. My dad also just got diagnosed with MS. Would this be a reason to expedite?

Good luck to everyone who has their interview soon!🤞

I have not heard anything yet. Still waiting here too.

Hey, no, I haven't. I did biometrics on 4th of February for I-765 and only yesterday it has changed. I believe it has something to do with luck cause I have seen some people getting interview without EAD being approved (happy for everyone of course! :) )

I would be happy with EAD so I can start working and just patiently waiting for interview. But mostly I would like to go home for 10 days to get everything sorted back home.

I see there is no really many people who applied for I131 with AoS

Hopefully things will change after recent bill towards application blockage was introduced.

Ok. Thank you for your reply. I would be happy too if I get my EAD so I can start working and then wait for interview as well. I didn't apply for a Travel document cos I'm not planning on going to my home country for now. I pray things to move quickly. Thank you and Congratulations!

Congrats on your EAD! I am December filer and I got my EAD is currently in production. I am really hoping for I-131 to be approved as well. I have postponed my journey twice :(

I hope things move quick for you!

Hey. Did you expedite your EAD? Cos I'm November filler and my EAD has not been approve yet still saying we are actively reviewing your form I-765 as of December 13th 2021.

Yes, normally they take 2 weeks to process the application but in case of verification of valid immigration status needed from USCIS it takes more than 4 weeks. I applied in the last week of October 2021 and received in 1st week of December. For me, it  took around 6 weeks approx.

In between i called at local SSA office many times and they said it's pending on USCIS end and they can't do anything about it, once verification is done from USCIS they will send SSN via mail.

Can I apply for SSN now that my AOS is pending or wait till I have my EAD in hand?
