I think i am still keeping the retail job though. It has been so satisfying building the store from ground up and i have already made friends with coworkers. Awoke at Many a.m., in pain; could not fall back asleep, no zzz and sigh and ouch man.
Took just one steroid pill, as a test; failed test like everyone here fails Polish Math, sigh and ouch man.
Back and leg were a mass of pain all dreary day, sigh and ouch man.
Got call from Spine doctorette, offering trigger-point injection, whee man.
Spine doctorette was today at clinic MANY miles away in wrong direction, pass on it man.
Toward end of workday, got call from exhausted Mama T-B.
Uncle T-B. in hospital with pulmonary embolus (clot in lung), life-threatening man.
Went to hospital to relieve exhausted Mama T-B.
Uncle T-B. doing well, undergoing ongoing battery of tests that continue tomorrow, imaging man.
Got to observe foxy ultrasonographerette ultrasonograph legs & carotid arteries, interesting man.
Spent Many hours at hospital; returned to casa exhausted with back on fire, zzz and ouch man.
Shall probably sleep quite well until pain awakens us, zzz and no zzz man.
Can't WAIT for caucus with regular doc tomorrow, hoped-for-injection man.
Afterwards, depending on how feel, plan to buy Many new tyres.

Revalidation of petitions prior to an interview taking place is routine and happens frequently with no action needed on the part of the petitioner or beneficiary. At least I am not asking my hubs to support or give away stuff to my family

I get a lot of carp at my work too. One is a passive aggressive salesman who I'd like to introduce to a clue by four sometime. But salesmen tend to rub me the wrong way anyhow, as they often operate with no intelligence or logic and want others to view the world the same. Like last week he put a note on a our wide format printer, "printer is running out of ink". For one, it does not use ink, its a laser printer and uses toner. For two, it is not low on toner. For three, on Monday he asked me when I was going to order ink and replace it. BTW this is not my job and is done by anyone who prints to the wide format printer, the instructions are right on the machine. For four, this machine is under contract and the vendor drops off more toner on a regular basis, and its sitting right next to the machine. For five, he's a ditz and salesman, so he bugs me.

Steve has a sexual harassment suit against him and work for taking advantage of his new sexy assistant. And a discrimination suit against him at work for not taking advantage of another woman there. In other words his work has been damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.
Darnell has issues with his spouse ever since she came to the USA. She's gonna go become a nun now.

In these two cases, I think the "deadbeat" dads could be doing more and they should be doing more.
That said, it's easy to think that it's just the dads who are at fault.
However, there are also cases of "money-grubbing" moms who try to get every single cent from their exes and then some. They spend the child support money on brand new gadgets, diamond jewellery and designer clothes for themselves or save it all for cosmetic surgery procedures. What's the US government doing about these people?
Then there's the child support agency workers and judges, who appear to relish trying to bankrupt the dads, regardless of what they can afford, while telling them that it's illegal for them to be (military) retired.
Yet another sick system where the people (kids) who are meant to benefit from it, do not.

TRUE friends stick by you thru thick and thin. They may state their objections to a decision you make, but allow you to explain yourself and understand why you are making that decision. Unfortunately you do not get to choose your family. My Mother even asked, "Why can't you find a good American Woman?" Of course this is the same woman that did not like any of the women I dated. At least she accepted my wife "as long as I am happy."
I have three TRUE friends and would not trade them for anything. All others are just friends. I have had those that are interested and think it is neat that I have a foreign wife to those that think I am totally crazy. I bet it is the same no matter who I married. I am sorry I cannot give you the foreign spouse's take on this, but know that the USC also has to deal with the same ignorance of people and I think that is what it is--ignorance or maybe jealousy.
Keep the good friends and throw the others back into the "sea" and do not let it bother you too much.
