Are you in denver as well?

Do you know what should we bring to an interview? Do we need to bring passport photos?

As far as I know you don’t need to bring photos because they already have your photo through biometrics. You have to bring your green card, tax returns (past three years if your GC was via marriage, five years if it wasn’t through marriage), all your passports old and new, your photo ID/driver’s license, and I think you need to bring your marriage certificate and your children’s birth certificates as well if those apply to you. Can’t recall what else but the N-400 instructions page should tell you what to bring depending on your situation.

    Hi everyone.

My wife successfully obtained a temporary (1 yr) stamp in her green card! So now she can visit family this summer. :) On the other hand, we're almost at two years with waiting for the interview, and starting to get a little concerned....

All that aside, I have a non-immigration question; I thought possibly one of you could help.

As an US citizen, what does it look like for travel from US-St.P Summer 2021? I'm having trouble pinning down concrete info. The Embassy says Do Not travel, but doesn't say travel is Restricted. Then I read a blog post that seemed to suggest an actual Ban on US national-Russia travel is currently in place.

Can anyone help clear this up for me or point me to the best source for this info?

    Thanks.

There are still flights between Moscow and LA/NY/DC so there are no travel restrictions at all.

Just gave a call to them. Spoke to a very nice officer (I guess N400 applicants get that privilege lol) and she assured me that everything is fine and there was no RFEs sent. But she told me that since I filed early, they have to wait until my third anniversary date to schedule an interview which won’t happen until June. So a note to everyone who used that filing early option: don’t expect your interview notice until your anniversary date.

That’s kind of reassuring. So I’ll have to wait until mid-June in my case lol.

    Hi all,

I saw that filers from previous months were using a spreadsheet to track the progress on their applications, so I went ahead and created one for us March 21 filers: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DDsG3QoQKJsXbtBVrJu1geP3nk7R49saU4XVYn2Qtr4/edit?usp=sharing

    Have a great weekend!

Happy to say that I am now a US Citizen!

Interview was at 10:15, security was slow due to the Covid social distancing, once checked in I waited for about 10 minutes and was called in for my interview. They started out with the history questions, I got the first six correct so she moved on to the reading and writing portion. Then the interviewing officer verified my address, phone number, date of birth and social security number. Then we went through the Yes/No questions from the interview. She then told me that I was approved, administered the oath ceremony there and then and handed me a small US flag and my certificate of naturalization.

After applying for a passport and updating all the other fun stuff (driving license, registering to vote etc) the journey with USCIS is over! Very happy!

    My timeline for those interested:

2020/11/19 - Filed online (local office is Denver, CO).
2020/11/28 - NOA received in the mail.
2021/01/20 - Biometric reuse letter received in the mail.
2021/04/01 - Interview, Approved, Oath Ceremony and Certificate of Naturalization in hand.

Congrats! I know you've been sweating this for a while. Do you happen to remember roughly which date you got informed about your interview date?

In my receipt notice it says that they will send my bio appointment through mail, does that mean I won’t get a bio reuse notice ? Or does it say that in the initial receipt notice anyway for everyone?

I got a separate notice for biometric reuse, and I got it hours after submitting the N-400. They're both under "Documents."
