What!! We were in AP for a total of 8 months. You need to contact a lawyer ASAP. I was going to use Josh Goldstein. I did a consultation with his firm but then we got approved a week later. Good luck and so sorry you're going through this!

Anyone else having any luck? We're in our 6th month of AP. DS5535 paper. Spoke with a few attorneys. I'm giving it another 60 days and will most likely be filing a WOM after that.

Hey everyone. I don't see a thread just for DS5-355 approvals. Can we start one? List your country and when you were finally approved. Just trying to see an average (if that's even possible) or if you're still waiting general discussion or updates. Idk if this is allowed so mods delete please if not.

Thank you I really appreciate that. I'm sorry for you too. Are you able to be together or no? I lived in Jordan with him for two years but then moved back to America. I was flying there every 3 months for a while but then got pregnant. Last time I was there was last May-June and haven't been able to get back with work and the baby not having a passport. Had no idea the embassies website said 5 months I'll have to check that out right now. Thank you for that!

Yes congressionals don't seem too work for AP. I even know someone who works at the department of state and theirs nothing they can do. I agree it's devastating. I finally have a passport appointment for our baby this week. So whenever we get that back I'm gonna have to go there. I haven't seen him in 9 months and he obviously hasn't met his daughter yet. Its so frustrating. Wish we knew the reason for the AP.

Nothing. No updates in CEAC since 12/12/22. I've emailed a million times I just get the same generic response back. Phone lines at embassy and NVC still shut down. It's a ###### joke. I'll definitely keep you updated. Sorry you were put into AP. It's ridiculous. What's the timeline on the bottom of your DS paper? Ours said 2-6 weeks. That's clearly not correct. Curious if they have updated it or not 

Thanks for responding! It's so annoying. We had a baby in September and he's just missing out on so much it's so depressing. Hope you're doing good and continued good luck on your journey 💜

Hey all,

My husband had his interview Oct 31 2022 and was subject to AP. We weren't missing any documents. I've attached the letter he received. We sent in the info within hours of his interview. CEAC has updated 4 times but we've been stuck since Dec 12th with no update. Just wanted to see if anyone else was in the same situation at this embassy.

Update....DQ 10/27/21 interview 10/31/22. I've also seen people with a November and December DQ have interviews in November. Good luck to everyone!!

Yea honestly most of the time it's not useful lol but it does help when people actually post their DQ/Interview dates. Well I'll definitely update here when we finally get something! Our case has been sitting at the embassy since Aug 28th lol

There's a Facebook group. Search IR1 CR1 Amman Jordan. So many people got scheduled yesterday

I saw..I'm pissed. I got an expedited approval August 25th and haven't heard a thing since! We were DQ October 2021. Idk what they're doing at that embassy. I'm happy for everyone but I'm not understanding why there's still September/October 2021 cases sitting at that embassy with no interviews scheduled. I've sent countless emails with no response. Hoping this coming week we'll get something scheduled for October. They skipped over Oct entirely so people in my position are hoping it's this month.

Last one is pretty close to your dq date in october so hope you hear something soon. I'd like to point out though that some people within those dates still haven't gotten a letter (some august and july) so they might not be going in exact order. Also, for both of these, people stated they weren't expedited. 

Hey! So I was just looking and it appears they are pushing out all the family cases from 2021. I also saw a December case. That November 3rd case was merged together with her children's cases who are under 21. It looks like no other CR1/IR1 cases were scheduled. So hopefully that means those will be sent out this week! Fingers crossed! Like what are they doing?! It's so frustrating they haven't made CR1/IR1 a priority at all!!!

I am high risk which is why I attempted to expedite with medical records. I figured it would get denied (which it did at first) hense why I was so shocked I got an approval a week ago lol not complaining though we've been waiting over 2 years since the start of the process I'm tired haha I will definitely post any news I get good or bad. And I agree if they would have just done a few hundred a month instead of this 60 a month BS they'd be caught up! I'm also in those groups (I left WhatsApp because all ppl did was chat and I don't have time for that lol) But even that FB group isn't the best so it's hard to get any answers for Jordan! Good luck to you guys as well! Please post here if you see/hear anything!!

Hey sure no problem...we were DQ October 2021. I requested expedite in March for pregnancy and it was denied literally less than 24 hours later lol which means they probably didn't even send it. I was SHOCKED to get an email last Friday saying it was now approved as I hadn't sent anything to them since March. Still waiting on an interview date though. They skipped August altogether and didn't send anyone anything. Should hopefully be next week for the October batches of interviews. Hopefully your wait won't be as long. Appears they are finally making an effort to get caught up!

I'm adding to this just in case it helps anyone. I received an email two days ago that my expedited request from March was approved. I'm thinking they are finally opening up more visa appointments and going through all the denied expedites first. It was originally denied within 24 hours of submission back in March. It's showing in transit and when I log into NVC it's showing it's at Amman. I'll update again if/when we get an interview letter. 

Hey! Yay congrats! Do you remember by chance when in June you were DQ? Also is it for early August? I'm thinking we may have to wait until December for an interview for October DQ. I wish they would step it up!

Oh no that's annoying. Just try searching key words and maybe it will pop up for you. Last someone posted they were scheduling interviews from May 2021 so hopefully you're in this next group!! I think they said they usually send out interviews sometime around the 15th of each month. Please keep me posted!! They need to pick up the pace! It's ridiculous how behind they still are

Do we have anyone active from Jordan on here? I'm trying to see where they are at as far as scheduling 2021 DQ's. I am aware of the Facebook group but that hasn't been very active either. If anyone has interviews scheduled in Amman please post your DQ and interview date! Thanks for any replys
