I was thinking of waiting till mid next week before. The original predicted date for me is 05/03/2021. Still optimistic that i will see it soon. 

the new USCIS report is out. They received less cases in the last quarter released, Oct-Dec 2020, and processed more than the quarter before that. The backlog still growing, but at a lower rate:

I have asked a few people in a Portland forum already. I'm due for my interview in Portland on May 26 at 8 am. Like Seattle it's simply luck if you get a same day oath or not. 

This is what I would do! In Seattle, they mostly do same day Oath. Try to find some forum about Portland N-400, maybe someone there can help you out.

I went from "Invalid case date..." > Time to next milestone: X days > Interview Scheduled > Your personalized processing time is down for maintenance.
 
Oh and I even I had "We are taking longer than expected..." status somewhere in there too.

Thanks for the heads up MGMA. My interview location is the good old Tukwila office. I live north of Seattle so probably USCIS is nice enough not to make me drive to Portland or Yakima.

Thanks. Last Thursday (4/8) it was at 28 days. Since then I didn't log on till today so I am not sure what it had just before the interview was scheduled.
 
If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about the order in which these are being scheduled. Now we have seen multiple instances where interviews are being scheduled sooner than any of us expected. I am sure yours is coming any day now. Keep checking your online account everyday. Good luck!

Are you associated with military? We have seen expedited cases for military and military members in this forum before. We wish you the best luck. I have the same processing time like you, so hope to hear something soon. 

Yes, that's true. I just didn't see RFEs a lot on this forum in N400 cases so was just wondering but I will wait and see what gets posted or when I receive it in the mail. Anyway, thank you for your response and I will keep updating the tracker with any new info. 

No one will know what you submitted in your package, or if you answered all questions in the form as expected. You will have to wait until a document is uploaded in your account, or you receive the request. The document upload can take a day or 2 to show up in the documents tab. Best luck, I hope it's just extra documents that you need to provide, and it's a really good sign anyway that they are working on your case.

It takes a few until the document is uploaded. If it's generated, you must see it tomorrow, otherwise you will see something on Monday. I hope it's not a system glitch. Keep us updated. 
 
The 9 months, seems a standard random number until your case is done. I have seen people reporting something similar when they have an interview.

I do indeed...April 27th is my interview :))

I'm predicted in the sheet for August 2021, but hoping if USCIS is speeding up then our predictions might move forward! 

I think they do have a new UI. Somebody reported yesterday the website was down with HTTP 500 error? That might have been the upgrade in progress.
Before the UI changed, I did have a countdown counter. When it counted to 0, it became "We are taking longer than expected blah blah".
 
When I logged in just now, my case was closed.

I made a copy of mine because they keep the original and send it to the passport service. You’ll get the original back just after you get your passport. But in the meantime it’s good to have a copy of the certificate.
