I called NVC last night and again as expected said my papers are still with them and are waiting for reopening of Philippine Embassy before they can send them. I assume that is why i am getting this message Requiring Ds 160. I already paid my visa fee and did this DS 160 A week after receiving my NOA 2. i am pretty confident most embassies will reopen very soon. Fingers crossed.
May i know how "In Transit " looks like? I just want to imagine things and one day see my status will change, too.

Thanks for your update but this has been discussed by many earlier in the week when it was first released. It's good news. Keep the faith and trust the system. You're almost there.
Thanks. Kindly direct me pls to that earlier discussion. Everyday i check tis website. I must have missed it.

You have to contact the embassy. Email is the best way.

Hi Guys,
I am a K1 visa applicant got approved from USCIS on 26 june, My case seems stuck at NVC till then, After reading about some other threads i noticed some people are even waiting for longer period than me. I am currently situated in Warsaw Poland and due to Covid-19 it seems mostly embassies and consulates stopped Visa services or limited them upto certain number. While on checking consulate website they are saying they are not sured when will they re-open it. I emailed NVC for my new NVC case number which they emailed me but said we will not forward any K1/737 petition to Warsaw consulate until they will resume services. When i am checking my status it is showing at NVC. Is someone here in Europe got there case forwarded to consulate ? Are they even forwarding K1 case to consulates ?? Are these K Visa categories are allowed to Travel to US these days ?
24-Jan-2020--> NOA1
26-Jun-2020--> NOA2 (Approved from Uscis)
my Noa2 is june 25. We have the same dilemna. Nothing else to do after ds160 but wait
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General in Manila, Philippines suspended routine visa services. The National Visa Center will not forward K1/I-730 visa petitions to Manila, Philippines until they resume routine visa services. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate General will resume visa services as soon as possible, but they cannot provide a specific date. For the most up-to-date information about the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General's operating status, please visit their website at <https://usembassy.gov>.

Hello,
I know that Ukraine embassy is partially open, but only for spouse visas and student visas. They are not processing K1 visas.
The travel ban affects K1 fiance. If you do get your K1 and the travel ban is still in effect, the best option is to travel to a non-banned country, wait 14 days, and then travel to US. People have been using Serbia, Turkey and Mexico. I believe you can use Ukraine as well.
Hopefully your embassy will resume routine visa services soon.
Have the same dilemna. My NOA2 is June 25. I receive thus email after requesting for my NVC Number. They send me my number plus this message

I noticed for us that accessing it through chrome worked better than safari. You may want to try a different browser. Not saying that’s your problem but it did help us.
Will try.thanks for the input

That is a fairly common issue, been around since last year when DOS updated their systems.
Yup it does state only the applicant can click the submit button, but I do know of a fair number that did "click it" for their fiancee ... just sayin'
Thanks. Will give it one mor day of trying if nit might as well click it here.

I can only assume that this is voluntary for each embassy to supply their information. If they chose not to then you will find the ustraveldocs website void of an entry for a embassy.
Even Philippines not included, too

We completed my fisnce DS 160 here in America. The instruction clearly says that only the fiance/ Applicant is allowed to sign and submit personally. Unfortunately she can not get thru the system and always refreshes and goes to application error like there is a problem on the Philippines website. Any similar issues?

We just had our interview. The CEMAR we submitted was from 2018. Now our case is refused until we send a new CEMAR. They didnt even keep the passports. It's a real bummer.
If you have a spousal interview in Manila make sure to have a recent CEMAR even though the website gives no timeframe on when its valid.
The online site says 3 weeks due to covid to issue the CEMAR. Then time to send it and time for processing. This probably set us back at least 6 weeks.
Are they interviewing K1 or you had an expedited interview?

Called NVC and they still don’t have my case from USCIS even though it’s week 6 since approval. The person on the phone told me to scan my I-797 and email NVCRESEARCH@state.gov to have them take a look for it (not NVCINQUIRY, which I thought was strange).
I am sure you will have your case number very soon. Unfortunately there is nothing to do besides Ds160 since most embassies are not processing our cases and Our papers arebjust sitting here at NVC USA

Hey guys, we received our NOA2 Jun 27. I guess now I gotta continue playing the waiting game. So, I should wait for the embassy to open and then call after 5 weeks?
Try calling them. My Noa2 is Jan 25. Called yesterday around 10pm and got my NvC # but the bad news is they have to wait for my embassy to reopen before they can even send these papers to them for processing

Called NVC today 10pm and got my NVC number. Waited close to 1 hour on the phone. My NOA2 is Jan 25. They said my papers will stay with them till Manila reopens and will start receiving and processing them. I will start doing my Ds 160 tomorrow and hope and pray Manila will open soon and start processing papers.
Good luck to all of us and Stay in Love. -

I called the NVC since it’s almost been 4 weeks since our NOA 2 (June 25th) but they still haven’t gotten our case yet. I kind of expected it but I still wanted to check anyway!
We have the same NOA2 @ June25th. I was thinking of emailing them instead of calling for my case number probabaly end of this month. Keep in touch pls in case you get your number and i will inform you too. By the way my embassy is in the Philippines

You will eventually need the NOA2 when you file the AOS after marriage. But until then you don't. However I'd keep bugging them about it.
