Hello VJ family, how much is to renew a EAD? i sent my i-601 waiver last month on November 7 as RFE so that uscis can make a final decision on my green card. But uscis hasn’t cashed the check I sent with my waiver application yet. I thought maybe I’ll get my green card faster but they’ll make a decision only if I send them a i601 receipt. I’m thinking of renewing my EAD because the current one expire in February 2023 and also I may not have have a green card by that time of February 2023

They have not cashed it because if they cash it, I will see it on my transaction history

I paid with my check yes, it still doesn’t show on my bank statement yet. Thank you, will keep an eye on that

My RFE says « file form i-601 waiver with the appropriate office and pay the appropriate fee; and after receiving a receipt notice, immediately send the receipt notice together with the RFE letter to the local office so that a final decision can be made on your case » looks like it’s the same officer who interviewed me for i-485 who will make the decision on both i-485 and i-601 because he will be able to see the file in the system

Anyone knows how long it takes to receive a i-601 receipt notice after filing ? I sent the package since November 9th, I’m waiting for that receipt notice to send it to my local office for final decision of my i-485

After i824 approval what next? I will be applying for my kids as well

Need your prayers guys. I finally sent my i-601 waiver . It took me almost 3 months to gather proofs for i-601. As a reminder : I had 204c fraud on i130. Received NOID on i360 because of that 204c. Responded to NOID and i360 approved. Went for i485 interview last august and received a notice to submit i-601 waiver. Just sent the waiver and hopefully I get my green card.

How much is the price to renew EAD ?

Who had filed i-601 waiver in the past and won? Looking for guidance. Went to my green card interview and received a rfe asking to file i601 waiver because of misrepresentation on my ds-160 at the embassy. Entered the country as single instead of married as I was married back home. This was a mistake from a person who filed ds-160 for me and the person didn’t put his name as the préparer instead said that I did it by myself . The i360 approved the application because they believed me as I told them it was an intentional mistake from the person who did the ds-160 for me. But my local office issued a RFE about the same thing after I-485 interview

I went for my i-485 interview last Wednesday 08/10/2022. Got a mail on Saturday 08/13/2022 for RFE for misrepresentation on DS-160 when I applied for visa in 2013. I got a visa as single while I was married to my ex wife back home. I responded to this misrepresentation already when I got NOID on my i360. The i-485 came up again with the same thing and uscis is requesting me to file i-601 waiver for that. Can I file the i-601 waiver myself ? Or I must continue with my lawyer ? My lawyer is charging me 4000$ for i-601 but I don’t have the money now and the filling fee for i-601 is 930$

Hey vj family, went to my i485 interview today. The officer just asked me my name and name of my ex wife and yes/no question. i didn’t get vaccinated because I am allergic to all vaccines and my doctor was ok with that and did my medical like that and found out I didn’t need vaccines for hepatitis b and measles because my body is immune. So got 0 vaccine. The officer was nice and check my medicals to be ok. And said I will expect the decision in 2 weeks. Reminder : I was in removal proceedings in court because of asylum since 2016 December 2017 filed i130 October 2019 filed i360 after divorce november 2020: filed i485 in court and another copy sent to USCIS Irving Texas. March 2021: got 204c fraud on my i130 november 2021: got NOID on i360 because of that 204c. january 2022 responded to NOID February 2022: i360 approved March 2022 :my lawyer filed motion to terminate proceedings in court and same month motion terminated by judge. -May 2022 my lawyer wrote a letter to my local office to schedule me for interview and attached copy of i485 and i360 approval and letter of judge terminating my proceedings -July 2022 got interview letter i485 but the status online didn’t change at all and today interview that was easy and officer was nice hopelly I get my green card soon

I will go with my lawyer yes, but I feel so nervous if the IO start asking vawa questions, can’t afford talking about the abuses again. Everytime I think about abuse I become depressed and my heart rate go up. My counselor advised me to not talk or remember it. Because I was crying every time I had to talk about it (I almost escaped assassination in my marriage).

Hey , after wandering a lot with questions here, I just received an interview appointment letter for my i485 for august 10. Thanks to all @Stillwinning!!!😊 @Rhema1 @Family . Now need to do my medicals fast , I only have two weeks. reminder: i360 approved February 2022 after surviving a NOID and 204c fraud from my i130. I was in removal proceedings from my asylum and removal terminated march 2022. Do think I’ll be asked questions about i360 or asylum again? I’m nervous

I filed i485 with court since I was in immigration proceedings and a copy of my i485 was sent to USCIS Irving Texas before approval of i360 . When my I 360 was approved that’s when they mentioned that I’ll be notified separately on my pending i485. I also terminated my immigration proceedings few weeks after i360 was approved

Thank you for your clarification. I just checked my lawyer email. She sent the original to court with supporting documentation and a copy to uscis texas before proceedings were terminated. In this case should I still send a new i485? Or the court will transfer the old i485 to uscis? I’m trying to open your attachment on preorder instructions but it doesn’t open up
