Positive News here!
My GC interview was this morning at 10 and I got approved on the spot! Mr. Cain, the IO, was super friendly and very informative. We discussed about the ROC and N400 processes too and even gave me a note with the soonest dates that I can file for both. I think this discussion was longer than the actual interview lol
I knew that I was approved before we began the interview when he said this is just a formality etc. At the end of the interview, he said he already made a decision to approve my application once he's done reviewing my case(before today's interview). He said that I completed all the requirements when I sent in my AOS application back in February 2020.
The documents(in the photo) that I brought didn't even make it outside the bag 😃
Hope y'all get approved easily too!
Congratulations and thank you for such a nice post!

Question for everyone about i765. I have been following the tracker here on how many cases of FB i765 are approved everyday and all cases have 'chicago national office' written on their CIS.
Is this the National Benefits center office or chicago local office? My local office is in Boston and my PD is 02/21 with Bio on 08/11/. I'm patiently waiting for any news on approval and printing.

Update!!!
My husband @osally1 did his biometrics on 09/01 and also had another scheduled on 09/02 but they allowed him to do both while he was there 🙏 . From start to finish it took about 8 mins for him. This was the Dallas South office. He had a job interview on 09/02--Got the job!!. Now it says that his EAD card is in the mail!!! Now he has to take his driving test on 09/04-- wish him luck🤞. This has been a very eventful week of getting things done!
P.S. His SSN was issued already on 08/11/2020
Wow what a ride! Congratulations and best of luck!

Did you get your interview letter?
I just got the interview letter yesterday, for an interview at the ASC in October. Actually, I got two identical notices in two separate envelopes yesterday. I don't know what that means 😑 but they are identical so I am not gonna worry about it.
Along with the AP biometrics notice being sent to an outdated address, the USCIS' mistakes are just endless....
No movement on the EAD other than fingerprints being applied. I really want to work......
Going to do second set of biometrics tomorrow... (for anyone who didn't see my previous post, I called to see if this was a mistake and got yelled at by a rude tier-2 agent to "show up or your case won't be adjudicated further" and she hung up on me)Seems like a waste of everybody's time when someone else can use that slot..
I guess I should start thinking about preparing for the interview now! Any tips welcome.
I also had so many months of no news and suddenly everything happening at once. Everybody hang in there!
May i ask what your PD is?

Welcome bro.
We have the same Local field office. Had my bio on 08/14. Status same as yours. Kindly share any future updates.
Of course, may i ask why your profile also mentions Chicago? I thought all AOS marriage based applicants go to NBC

Thank you everyone for posting updates and sharing your stories. I'm a recent visitor to the forums and a feb filer (AOS-Marriage based).
I never knew this forum existed and to read about everyone's updates give me and my wife hope and encouragement to keep going on.
My bio was on 08/11 and we filed i485,130,131,765 on 02/21. I485 is now ready to schedule interview but 765 is still at FP were taken.
My local CIS is Boston, MA but as per receipt numbers everything is at NBC. I'm hoping to get the card soon as I have been off work for about 2 months now.

To people that had their biometrics already after the COVID closure, were your spouses allowed in with you? Did you have to fill out a form of any sorts regarding Covid?
No spouses were not allowed. They give you sanitizer and there's a poster with symptoms listed. You have to verbally answer yes/no to 'if you have any symptoms shown here'
February 2020 AOS Filers
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
Happy to see everyone's progress here. Our case is marriage based AOS with PD 02/21 with all receipts at NBC. My Biometrics was done on 08/11 and status changed on both i485,765 to 'Fingerprints were applied' on 08/12.
5 days later i485 went to 'Ready to schedule interview'. i765 is still as is. Tomorrow will be 30 days since I gave bio. I have sought help from our congressman's office but they are still waiting to hear from USCIS (approaching the 2 week mark).
I'm really happy to see that people are slowly getting approvals on their cases, my theory is that due to the court order asking for quick printing of EAD the process is limited to approving number of cases that they can then print in house.
I'm trying to give hope to folks like me and my wife who are waiting to get back to work and pay off mortgages and hospital bills as soon as we can. Please know that you aren't alone and every mail to senators/congressmen helps us collectively. Any advice from folks here or those who would like to connect, please feel free to reply or PM.
