I have no idea honestly, but out of 6 girls I know, only one girl's husband visa was approved right away at interview time. (All Interviewed in 2019) Rest are still stuck in AP. And one girl who had her interview was approved right away and she flew to US. And the trend here do show that Pakistani males are put in AP.... but, yea every case is different.

This is a scary trend, anyway, lets hope for the best and see how it goes.

Thanks, haven't heard anyone falling in AP though. Varies on case to case basis i suppose, any idea of the AP percentage? if there's something fishy, they will find out, clarity & honesty is the way to go.

I have no idea. I want to know too when is embassy going to open in Pakistan. My husband said it has opened in Pakistan, but I am not sure. Let me know whenever you get the interview schedule email/letter or find out when is embassy opening.

From what I had assumed from reading multiple entries on this forum is that it takes around 60 days if the NVC docs are approved in month of January lets say, you'll get a interview schedule letter in February, for the actual Interview date in March! (30-60 days). I have also read, if after Interview, you are stuck in AP, it takes anywhere from 6-18 months to process... and you should not contact them before 6 months of no update. I also have read this that embassies in Pakistan are putting males in longer AP. 😕 But due to this virus delay; I think it may take an additional 6 months to get our interview letter.... Good luck.

AP? Is this some sort of Background check?

F21 (wife, green card) - Submitted on Feb 3rd 2020, rejected I864 on March 9, resubmitted on March 9th. It's June....   We applied March on 2018.

As per my limited knowledge, Trump's executive order put all Family Sponsorship Applications on hold, i.e. Petitioner being a Green Card Holder. This might be the reason for delay in DQ.

First applied on May 22. Today (only 7 days later!) I received a message that they need two documents: proof of assets for me (petitioner) and for the co-sponsor.

It took forever for the messages to load on CEAC but I should be able to resubmit before Monday. I'll keep you all posted as to when I get DQ'd.

Yes, it takes multiple attempts for messages to load on CEAC website. Its great that new applicants are getting such quick responses. We had to wait 60 to 90 days for a review.

    Good Luck!

    Glory to God! 💯

DQ this morning at 7am, email received from NVC - May 21, exactly 12 hours after submitting all docs!!!

    Can't stop smiling! 🙌🤩

    Congrats!

So, this was your first time? Or was it a re submission?

I don't get the 12 hours thingii though, you mean to say that you uploaded all documents on the CEAC website and got a DQ after 12 hours?
