I’m sorry to hear - that must be frustrating! I have a question about the foreign income - did NVC confirm that it can be used? To my knowledge only US based income can be used for sponsorship since they wouldn’t make a contract with someone that doesn’t have the financial means in the US. Curious to hear more about how that can be accepted in your case!
Hey, quick update. We got DQ’d. In our resubmission I explained that we will work for the same companies in the US. I also added our assets (savings account value, with a statement). So I’m not sure which got us approved.

Well let's see what happens. They have accepted my tax returns but have struggled with the support for the "Wages" number - so now they've asked me to write a letter to explain this. And also to include that we will work for the same companies in the US. I am hesitant because of all of the uncertainty so I've included Proof of Assets now too. Hopefully this will be it but I'm not confident yet. Luckily we can't really move forward to interview now anyway but I'd like to be done thinking about it.

In case anyone needs to feel better about their own situation / waiting time, we've been in this process since January. Submitted all docs 30 Jan, received RFE 7 April, received a case review note on 16 May, and today I called and received more information verbally. So back to submitting something again today and we have no idea when it'll be approved. Also to give people piece of mind (that it might not apply to them), we are struggling with AOS evidence for foreign earned income. It seems there's confusion that we don't have W-2s -- although I can't believe this is that crazy of a scenario. Good luck to everyone!

Case FE Review note.
I also had one of these pop up in the last couple of weeks. It was about something that was already accepted (W-2s). I called and they said "it looks OK but needs a second review". Now waiting on that.

Hi, my name is Chris, I live with my American wife in Holland.
USCIS approved our case very quickly and we are ready to start the NVC process.
My wife is a bit concerned about moving now.
We would like to move to her hometown, Austin, TX.
I am a software engineer and for sure I would have no problem to find a job, while she would like to be back being a teacher or working in the NGO field.
Our concern is more about the health insurance until I find a job.
Sure the economy now is not the best after the Corona virus.
Do you think we should move soon or wait to file the documents and move around Spring 2021?
Thanks
Hi Chris, also living in Holland and in the same process. I think if you submit your documents to the NVC it will still be several months before they are approved, then a month or two before the interview, and then about a month before the visa is issued. And then the visa is still vaiid for 6 months from the time of issuance. So if you start now, you could still have a Spring 2021 move.

Hi everyone, just joined recently and I thought I'd share our recent activity. It seems like weird things are happening. We submitted to the NVC on Jan 30 but we had to do a resubmission on Apr 8. Over the weekend (weird?!) (16 May) we received another notification. It was a request for W-2s/1099s but we've already submitted these and they've been accepted. In addition to this our profile all of a sudden said we were missing the police certificate which was also already submitted and accepted. I called yesterday and they said it looks complete but it needs to go to next level review. If anyone has had similar experiences I'd be happy to hear them. Good luck everyone!!

Just checking if this worked OK for you. I have the same problem now (June 2020) and I don't want to mess with anything if I have the DQ e-mail in hand.
