Wow. That’s pretty fast for Houston if they filed in August here. Was it just n400?
Yeah and based on 5 years. My friend’s family too. I applied at the same time based on 3 year and still waiting

Hello Houston filers. Do you see any movements in Houston so far. I have seen some October 2020 filers already got their bio metrics appointment so hopefully they will get interviewed soon.
My aunt’s family got her interview scheduled. They applied in August 2020.

How do you know your field office? my receipt said Overland Park, KS. Is that it?
Type your home zip code at the bottom of the page, it will tell you your office.

Does anyone know if the local offices that are moving so quickly (in NC, FL and TX) have always moved quickly? Or is there a big push to get N400s done?
I have seen people, who applied late 2019, get scheduled in Texas.

Hello everyone
I would like to know your current status as well as your filing date. My priority date is August 13 and still nothing.

14 days before the interview?
Well, this is now, my interview appointment will probably take at least 5-6 months so we'll have to see then. If that's necessary I guess I'll try to make it happen .
Yes. 14 days before the interview. But hopefully, Covid-19 will be gone in a couple of months.

I hope so, I have family emergency to attend to in Sweden so I have to be out of the country for a bit 🙄
I heard people talking about uscis won’t let them do the interview if you don’t come back here before 14 days.

My case completion estimate went from August 2021 (11 months) to September 2021 (12 months). Looks like it is going to be a long wait. 😒My field office should be New Orleans although it is not showing anywhere in my uscis account.
At the bottom page, you can put your zip code and it’ll tell you your office.

I guess Houston is the longest city. My priority date August 13, 2020, and the estimation is November 2021. 😭😭😭

I meant, when I filed it originally (back in august) it started with a count down of 4 days.
It counted down every day until it got to zero. Then it started showing the "we're taking longer than expected message"
Well, we are in the middle of pandemic and all the backlog since March. I don't think the office work at full capacity due to social distancing (I think they interview less people than normal).

what do you have in your document's tab? personally, I just have the receipt they sent me in the mail.
My status says that they're taking longer than expected, yada yada. In the beginning it counted down from 4 days down to 1 then it started showing the message it is showing now.
I filed August 1st.
I don’t even have the count down. It jumps right in the “we are taking longer than expected”. My estimate is November 2021. I live in Houston, TX. My document tab only have the letter that they sent me.

Can you please elaborate on this? How did you send them a message, and what did your status update to?
You go to your inbox -> click on "+" sign-> general question. I typed like "hey, it's been 3 weeks and my status hasn't been updated". After 2 business day, my status updated with estimate time completion and document tab just like everyone else.

Those of you who filed by mail, how long did it take to receive NOA? My N-400 arrived at the Dallas location on August 26th, but still haven't heard anything.
Mine is 14 days

Finally filed mine in on 8/29 - moved here in August 2011 on K-1, just never got around to naturalizing. Response on USCIS website says doing background checks etc and 13 months estimation, so I may need to to look at renewing my green card if that rings true (expires Nov 2021).
Salt Lake City (SLC) office, if that makes a difference.
I think if you filed n400 6 months before your green card expired, you don’t have to renew your green card.

I did that but over there it just says about fingerprints taken. Nothing else. Thank you so much for replying me. So she said they transferred to nbc but might they sent it back due to heavy load of applications. 🙁
What I learned from calling to uscis is that they would give you different answers all the time
