So apparently Trump is open to lift the travel ban soon but no one knows when. I do not want to give any false hope to anyone and maybe this is just speculation but just wanted to share!
"Asked during a White House press conference in the Rose Garden on Tuesday whether the U.S. was considering lifting travel restrictions on European countries over the coming weeks, Trump did not shut down the possibility. Noting that the U.S. had just imposed new restrictions on travelers who have been to Brazil, which has been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak, Trump said: "We'll be doing certain announcements on other countries including Europe, as we move along."
"And where they're making progress, we'll start to open it up, but only when they're making progress. They're making some good progress," he said."

Did they specify if its for landborders and/or flights? As for as I know that rule only applies for the landborders.

People have been entering Mexico without a problem! They literally want to open up for tourism asap there would be no point to not let them in now. They might just be talking about land borders as well

Thank you! No I'd love to but I just don't want to be dealing with layovers in a time like this. I'd much rather fly non-stop to Mexico-City and just start 14 days of isolation

I did it! I booked my flight to Mexico as well. June 4th from Amsterdam to Mexico-City, staying in an Airbnb in Polanco, flying out June 19th to Florida. Anybody that will be in Mexico-City during those days, hit me up because I for sure am going to be bored

Our POE is Miami too.

I don't know, this is a question I would like to be able to answer but I cannot. It's like hotels in Mexico City that show up on Booking.com but that we cannot book unless for "business" reasons 😬

But why would they show Turkey - US flights then?

I second this. However, I think I’ve seen flights Croatia - Turkey - US but double check again.

Those rules apply to land entry:

I have booked a flight for my fiancee and her son to travel to Mexico City and I will meet them there, spend 15 days and travel to the USA.
There is someone else currently there now getting close to finishing the 14 days.

If you're willing to take the risk, then do it. Sometimes we have to take risks to be successful.
Check any internal Mexican restrictions carefully before proceeding.
Want to add that you have a great VJ screen name.

I called Canada customs and border patrol last week (I live in Michigan so I’m super close) and an officer said they wouldn’t allow people with K1 visas to just come in and quarantine as it’s not essential. Plus, the US and Canada are not opening up to each other at least for another month. If Canada opens their borders after June 22, I’m going to have my fiancé quarantine there since he can stay in Windsor which is a short drive from me.

Aruba is tentatively going to open up their borders for incoming passengers between June 15 to July 1.

There is also the possibility of going on a cruise not on a cruise ship, but commercial freight ship. One can be in international waters for many days. Some of these have ports in UK and Germany. Below is the link if anyone is interested in considering this idea.

Soooo the embassy replied to my email from yesterday- if it is true that I could get into trouble later on (AOS stage) if I travel through another country and they replied „
In reference to your email, even thought the visa was issued in Germany, you are not required to enter the U.S. directly from Germany.“ -

Hey,
For those who are still interested in going to Croatia, I received a reply from the Croatian Border Police (see attached).
Please be noted as @zrdn2019 said, as of now, there is no way to get from Croatia to the US without transferring through Schengen area or UK.
In any case and if you choose this route, good luck!

@geowrian: does Schengen Area ban include overseas territories that aren't actually part of Schengen? Such as:
Greenland Faroe Islands French Guiana Guadeloupe Martinique Mayotte Réunion French Polynesia Wallis and Futuna Saint Martin Saint Barthélemy Saint Pierre and Miquelon Aruba Curaçao Sint Maarten Caribbean Netherlands Svalbard Schengen Area proclamation didn't differentiate:
The UK and Ireland proclamation did differentiate:
China proclamation also doesn't apply to HK and Macau:
