  1. Hey!!

i have just got my 2 year green card

and I am filing for N-400 under 319(b)

im wondering if I have to file I-751 along with the form N-400 or not since I'm a conditioned green card holder ?

is it correct that I-751 only filed when you're in the 90 day window (90 days before your green card expires)?

    thank you

  2. Hello, I am really stressed right now,

I am a k1 filer and i filed AOS in March 2021. I just got a letter for scheduled interview of I485 form on Nov 24th. and my husband who is a U.S citizen and in the military, currently stationed overseas for another 3 years and he will be deployed oh ship around the time of the interview.

I have been doing research, calling USCIS and military help line. none of that was helpful because

    - military help line wasn't sure if my interview will be conducted without my husband and suggest to reschedule with military reason.

    - USCIS line said that "Try" to appear at the interview and show proof of PCS orders and letter from his command stating that he cant come to the interview and he also mentioned like "if that field office doesn't accept the proof and orders, you may follow their further instructions"

I literally dont know what to do right now..

Has anyone been in this spot?

Further to your concern you may want to become a part of the conversation for your region/country in the VJ sub-forum for your country. There you will get "boots on the ground" answers and help for your specific region or country. Go to the blue ribbon above, select "forums" then scroll about three-fourths of the page down and select the region that most represents where your country is located.

    I’m good thanks 🙏🏻

  4. Hi people! I had K1 interview on December 1st,2020. My case was an expedited case. I was asked for a document as the copy  was pretty  blurred. So they received my 221g doc on the 4th  (#1case update) and now today it’s changed to “Application Received” (#2 case update).

    anyone experienced this before ?
    should I be worried ?
how long will this change to issued?

    thank you 😊

The United States Consulate General in Amsterdam is resuming limited visa services.   As of July 15, we are processing limited visa categories including immigrant visas (IR-1, IR-2, CR1, CR-2) and non-immigrant visas  (C1/D, E, F-1/F-2, certain J-1/J-2, M-1/M-2, and certain petition-based visa categories).  While the Consulate aims to process cases as soon as practicable, there is likely to be increased wait times for completing such services due to substantial backlogs.  The MRV fee is valid and may be used to schedule an interview appointment in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment.

its not just in Amsterdam, Its reopening in many countries by the same rules and limited types of visa

  6. USCIS Offices Preparing to Reopen on June 4

On March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services temporarily suspended in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices, and application support centres (ASCs) to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). USCIS is readying offices to reopen on or after June 4. Employees in these offices are continuing to perform mission-essential services that do not require face-to-face contact with the public while the offices are closed.

While offices are temporarily closed, USCIS will continue to provide limited emergency in-person services. Please call the USCIS Contact Centre  for assistance with emergency services.

USCIS field offices will send notices to applicants and petitioners with scheduled appointments and naturalisation ceremonies impacted by the extended temporary closure. USCIS asylum offices will send interview cancellation notices and automatically reschedule asylum interviews. When the interview is rescheduled, asylum applicants will receive a new interview notice with the new time, date and location of the interview. When USCIS again resumes operations for in-person services, USCIS will automatically reschedule ASC appointments due to the temporary office closure. Individuals will receive a new appointment letter in the mail. Those who had InfoPass or other appointments must reschedule through the USCIS Contact Centre once field offices are open to the public again.

Please check to see if the respective office has been reopened before calling the Contact Centre.

Please also visit uscis.gov/coronavirus for updates. For the latest information on the status of an office, visit https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/uscis-office-closings.

Received a USCIS Text alert this morning at 530am (I live in California). 🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Probably the best thing to wake up to! Thank you everyone for the support and the advice and positive energy. Those who haven't received their approvals- your time is coming up soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Im gonna guess- that this was possibly approved yesterday and that their system doesn't update approvals til the following morning- unless they have a very enthusiastic agent that likes to work at 530am 😆😆. Either way , Im super thankful!

    NOA1: Feb 6

    NOA2: May 6

The second picture is a screenshot from the Lawfully app. Their estimate of approval timeframe was May 6- June 5. So they were pretty spot on in their guesstimate.
