  1. Hi, i am going to my country morocco, 2 months ago i booked the flight thru Aerlingus. com the airline website, and i was not able to book the flight from arizona to morocco, i have to book 2 separate tickets, one from arizona to dublin and then other from dublin to morocco. Couple weeks ago they call me saying that the flight that i was suppose to take from dublin to the US on Feb 14 is canceled and there will be a flight on Feb 15th, my flight from morocco to dublin is on Feb 13, so now i have to stay in dublin for 2 days or almost as it is about 38 hours . my question is, do i need visa to stay in the airport for that period, am not planning to get a hotel, as i checked and it was about 100 dollars, so i planned to just deal with it and stay in the airport. do i need a visa for that? although i dont want to leave the airport?

yes i did, but that was why i am confused and dont know what to tell the guy. He doesnt know anything about this process and so am i . I know about K1, but and always thought that K3 is for marriage visa till i saw something about CR1, but it looks a little complicated. So i wrote in here ,to get an advice.

  4. hi, i have a friend who has just been married to an american girl. They dont know much about the process, so he contacted me asking. Because i came here on K1, so i dont really know about the marriage visa process, i tried to read but i am confused and i cant help him with anything when i am not sure about the answers i may give. So please i need to know what they have to do? K3 or CR1, i dont want to make it hard for him to understand so i want to know the easiest way. I thought K3 is easier and CR1 needs much work. I dont know if i am right or no. Thank you.

  5. Don't know about the Moroccan consulate but about the flights. If flying from California or around California you won't get a flight that's much cheaper than that. You are just going to have to fly during the low seasons and during the week. If you fly into Casa it is also a lot cheaper than say you wanted to land in Rabat.

Thank you sister for your reply, i'll have to land in Agadir , close to home. You re right about Casablanca is cheaper to go go, but it is far for my family to come pick me up, and i dont want to take a bus or train to marrakech and then my city, it will be hard for me and lost of time especialy if i will go just for 2 weeks. I was trying to find a way to go to europe then to morocco.

  6. Hi, i want to ask you guys a couple of questions. First of all i was searching online for cheap flights to Morocco. I try to avoid royal air maroc, it's expensive. When i came to the states in 2007 i came by the royal air, i payed about 1040 dollars for one trip, it was from agadir to arizona. Anyway the cheapest tickets i ve found are no less than 1400 $. So, does someone knows how to get a great deal? sometimes thereare ways to get the cheapest, so i want to know if you have any idea.

My second question, does any moroccan in here or someone who knows a moroccan who expended or renewed the passport via mail, Moroccan consulates are known by theirs bad service, i want to know if someone had an experience with the moroccan consulate in nyc.thank you all

  7. it is not about impressing the officer or the king, just i was saying it is a real marriage and her father is the co sponsor and he worked with the gov, means he would be the last in the world that wouldnt accept to be a co sponsor in a fake marriage.i wouldnt laugh at you but i wish u a better luck

Newsflash: It does not matter AT ALL where the co-sponsor works.

Newsflash: that was just an opinion or ( thinking out loud) and both of you talked about it.Because the immigrations ask us and want any evidence, small or huge ,stupid or smart, there are people who were asked what was the last time u had SEX.So when i was talking and saying that this marriage we both entered in it with good faith, i mentioned that the co sposnor is my step father and i mentioed what was his work, means that IF the officer thinks it is a fraud ,AT LEAST who is the co sponsor and what was he doing can a lil bit a lil lil lil bit show it may not be a fraud ,as first of all i dont think any father (unless he is stupid) can accept to let his daughter doing fraud, second someone who worked in the gov and served wouldnt does fraud.

U left the main subject that i wrote and u stick with that opinion, u have the right to say whatever u want, but u dont have the right to joke or try to look smart on someone else opinion, thank you anyway. We r not going to the divorce right now we are trying ,working and building and i hope the devil will leave our relationship alone. If it will be a divorce i may just go back without files headaches,i seek and want just one heaven, the one there ,far from the sky,as there s no heaven on earth.

Take it easy LEN u seem bored and nervous.

Thank you all for ur replies, problems happen to humans this is natural, best luck for u.

  8. hi all, i hope everything is going well with you. I got the 2 yrs green card one month ago. Sadly i think we are going this time towards a real divorce, i said real as we mentioned divorce before and didnt happen. After fights and lots of misunderstoods like what happen between a big amount of human couples. some of problems because of me although i know am a good guy but my stupid bad temper sometimes and the lack of handling problems and when my feelings get hurt, without yelling. Some because of her and i know no human is perfect, some because like i said of misunderstoods and other stuffs. I feel a pain that i wanted to make something great and people happy but i find i just mess. anyway after saying some of my personal story to you i want to know, if the divorce happen and i have to apply , is sending the tax papers is a must? i came here in the end of 2007 i didnt work till august 2008 ,so if the divorce will happen, it will be before filing taxes. She has the majority of bills in here name, my name is in the lease and in the inssurance card with her name,i have copies of our credit cards, photos together and with our families, letters ,emails greeting cards ,phone calls history from the time we met. I have the selective service system registration card showing the home addresse. Her father is the co sponsor and he worked in the dept of defence ( say this meaning it is not a fake marriage),i really do love her but i know being bad and yell ( i dont insult) none would deal with it , sadly i was like that with my family too. At the end i want to know after the divorce, will it worth it to try apply ,pay and deal with that headache thing again, or i shoud just leave, go back and start a life between my family again, better than get deported as it is humalating in my opinion.

thank you if you stop to reply or even if not, and i hope that you guys try hard in your marriages.

What does her father working for the Department of Defense have to do with it not being a fake marriage? I dont see the connection. <_<

neither do i... maybe it would impress the consular officer?????

i dont know why u see it silly , i said that meaning that he is the co sponsor and he worked in a gov job so if it is a fraud marriage and just a deal between me and her , he wouldnt be the co sponsor, i said that in case the immigration people would think it is a fraud marriage or a deal, i dont know how to explain it. I read in here that the immigration offices care about the nature of marriage was it real or a deal, the divorce anyone in the world can divorce.

  10. Each state has different laws regarding divorce. You will need to consult with a divorce lawyer. I feel that any marriage involving huge cultural differences goes through a period of intense strain after a few months, especially when the overseas spouse has no choice but to stay at home pending the EAD and drivers' license. I hope the two of you can come up with some plan to make the marriage work.

You are so right, i ve been there too, when i came here sept 2007 , i didnt work or have a driver licence till august 2008 almost a year, loooooooooooots of problems and fights with my wife, cultural shock, being away from my family, sitting at home all the day.Sadly that whole year infleunced of this relationship with my stupid temper when i get mad, and now we are going to divorce.

  12. i had the medical in MOROCCO in july 2007, and in august 2008 i had the aos interview , the officer just asked me to and take the chicken pox shot and that they approve my case. I even didnt send any medical form or record when i filed the AOS and i didnt get a RFE. I suggest you go first and if they need the medical then go ahead after the interview and take a new one.

  13. Hi Dolphin1,

Did they ask your sponsore current employment letter. Does my husband need to make new employment letter form his employer? Thanks.

No they didnt ask, he just noticed that my father in law is the co sponsor and ask how we are together. But you know if your husband can get a new employment letter that can be fine just in case they ask.

BIG thanks for everyone who stopped and congratulate me and best luck for you all :)

  14. Hi, yesterday i had the interview in phoenix arizona, we arrived 30 mins before our interview time and we waitted like 20 to 30 mins. An asian man called me and i went inside with my wife. He asked about the original marriage certificate and asked about the proof of my wife US citizenship and we gave him copy of her birth certificate and copy of her passport. He asked me the date of our marriage and what i was working in MOROCCO and what is my wife doing now as job and how we lived financialy as my wife is a student and i ve just got a job. He noticed that my father in law is the co sponsor and he asked how he feels about me. He asked me about the medical records i told him i did it in MOROCCO and the dr didnt give me any record or copy so when i filed for the AOS i didnt send any medical form, he said he cant find it in my file which was infront of him, i told him i had one in morocco and i believe it was in the envolop i gave in NY airport, then he searched again and he found it. He said that he feels we have a good marriage and that he approves me and he said welcome to america but he told me that i need the chicken... shot and he gave us the drs list so to go there and get the shot. Anyway he didnt ask about any photos or things in our names things went find. I hope everyone will have a good luck.

  15. Hi all, i got the interview letter more than month ago and i am still not preparing for it (laziness) . I want to ask about some stuffs were written in the interview letter. By the way i didnt send any medical Form (I-693) i wrote about this a long time ago, i didnt send it with the AOS as i didnt get any record or copy from the damn doctor in Morocco,i didnt know i should asked about it, anyway when i sent the AOS papers i wrote in a paper to whom it may concern that i didnt get a copy of the medical, and that i believe that the medical exam and vaccination are in the yellow sealed envolop i gave in the airport JFK. After filing i never got a RFE. Now the interview letter asks to bring focuments which one of them is the medical : A completed medical examination and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)

By the way i had the medical exam before the consulate interview in july 2007. Do you think they will ask about a new medical?

My other question is, they ask about A certified copy of your marriage issued by the appropriate civil authority .

the only certified copy of our marriage i had, i sent it with the AOS file ,i have just the original marriage . Do i have to go to the court and ask about a certified copy? or i just make a copy of the original and take them both with us ?.

i know i wrote much and take you for your patience and help.

  16. sorry for ur situation, my wife doesnt work so we needed a sponsor , thanks god my father in law sponsord me. Tell your family that if someone sponsors that doesnt me they will have to pay anything, and that your husband is not going to do any fraud thing to get money. I know it is hard to make someone be the sponsor especialy if they dont trust your husband, i am blessed that my in laws love and trust me. i really hope you will have a solution, the important is that you and your husband are together.
