Curious if anyone in the Dallas area (or even Fort Worth) has had their interview scheduled yet?

Dallas here, nothing yet. Got my EAD/AP since August. I went to the chat with one agent 2 weeks ago and told me the case was still in the National Benefits Center but that it was ready to schedule just waiting on the regional office. My assumption is the backlog is so large they haven't schedule any people from early 2020 in the DFW. Have not checked on the other forums lately to see if anyone from DFW has been scheduled as well.

In that case, they should issue a regular 10-year GC. I say "should" because they sometimes make mistakes. If the wrong card is issued, you will have to submit an I-90 to correct it. Reason (D) is free to file; "My existing card has incorrect data because of Department of Homeland Security error." Their error would be giving you 2-year GC when you are not subject to INA 216.

Got it, I was under that impression I just wanted to confirm. At this point the waiting game is actually working on my side... 3 more months and I will be over the 2 year mark.

    Hello everyone,

I have been so annoyed and tired of this long and ridiculous process. But today I received an update and I was wondering if I will have to wait for another long period before I can start sending out job applications.

Can anyone tell me how long after their case status changes to new card is being produced, you have received the card in the mail?  I know I have seen someone mentioned it but I just can’t find that post.

    Thank you so much!

It should take less than 7 days, get a USPS account so you get all the updates for the mail delivery. Mine was "delivered" on friday but nothing showed up so you can imagine my weekend was fun until I got on the phone with the local agency to tell me they mail man still had it with him... also I thought based on the Aug - 2020 lawsuit anyone who gets EAD approved should get it before 8 days plus you can use the notice as the work permit now.

Today I received a text message about a USPS package coming in Saturday and then I got an update:
I-765 Card was mailed to me 9/23 :)

How does one usually confirms the tracking number for this? Just want to make sure this is not another package

I see some of the April applicants are getting interviews for AOS for early October, specially the ones with bio-metrics around the first half of August! hopefully we can get more AOS interviews scheduled!

Combo card came in the mail today :) waiting game now for the AOS

    I-131 Case Was Approved 9/22

    I-765 Case Was Approved 9/22

Is it "normal" for the I-765 to go from "New Card is Being Produced" to "Case Was Approved"? I guess the next notification should be "Card is in the mail"???

    Hello everyone!

Every update here has been really valuable, I think bio-metrics are up to the local state COVID-19 conditions.

Package received 4/21, NOA was dated 4/24

    I-130 "Case was received" 4/24

I-131 "Case was received" since 4/24

    Biometrics in Dallas on 8/26

I-485 ready to schedule for interview since 8/18

I-765 "New Card is Being Produced" 9/18

    I-131 Case Was Approved 9/22

    I-765 Case Was Approved 9/22

My guess is these were the first ones received where the new forms were supposed to be used and USCIS just categorically denied the old forms?  How are you able to see this amazing information?  All we see on ours is “case received” and nothing new at all since March.

For some reason it feels like late March and April have preference on processing....

My case just got update to: "CASE IS READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR AN INTERVIEW"

    Had  biometrics done last Friday
    NOA1: APRIL 24, 2020

Case updated to fingerprints were taken yesterday, no change on EAD or AP. But, does this mean they are approved? And how long is taking now to get the interview scheduled?  I did filed the new I-944

Also, this means RFE is out of the question now?

  9. I am in the same boat as a lot in people in here with the new I-944, I got lucky enough to figure two days ago I needed the I-944. I have most of my certificates, diplomas etc always digital so this helps a lot with this last minute situations.

This are my two cents in the High School equivalence certificates dilemma, if you have a higher education US valid certification logic says you made it through high school, right? so I am not adding any high school diploma translations or certificates just the copy of the foreign original one, I have that for the masters and undergrad.

Do not overthink the instructions just stick to them. Also to the I-944 I saw the comments about the 12 months of bank statements this is only if you declare as an asset any type of checking account or savings account. "For checking and savings accounts, you must provide account statements from the bank(s) covering at least 12 months prior to filing the application. You can also provide any documentation from the household members’ assets."

This is obviously targeting people that inflate their checking accounts somehow for this process, so if you are over the 125% and have any other assets save yourself and the USCIS some time.

Planning on filling early next week.
