Hi guys!! I just came back from my interview and I passed with flying colors!!!

I got there around 12.00 with my husband. My appointment was for 12.30 pm but the IO didn't show up until almost 1.15 pm.

She was incredible nice with me and she made me feel super comfortable. She requested my passport, my SSN, my driver's license and green card. And then proceeded with the civic test.

Then we went through my application, it took probably 45 mins to go through the entire thing: she asked me about my jobs, my husband's previous marriage, our son, my family. We talked about my speeding ticket ( thank God I took the court resolution and dismissed). She told me a ticket is not big deal.

She joke here and there and honestly It didn't feel like an interview at all despite the lenght (around 50 mins). She approved me on the spot and made me signed my application. She then told me to wait for my oath ceremony letter and handed me an approval letter.

She scort me to the main door where my hubby was waiting for me, when he saw my big smile he ran to hugged me and kissed me...my IO was behind me and she started laughing and she then approached to say hi to my hubby. She was extremely kind and nice.

She told me my oath ceremony is within days so I needed to make sure not to travel far away.... And that was it!

Im so so so excited and I can't believe I'm just a step away from being an US citizen???

In Idaho they let you register at the poll. So I was lucky there.

In Idaho it was primary elections for state seats like county Sheriff and State Legislature yesterday. I got to vote for the first time ever in the US. It was super exciting

I got a notification email and text today that I am placed in line for my oath ceremony. I guess my letter will come soon? hopefully within 2 weeks..

I also marked no forgetting about it since there was no fine. If the IO brings it up have them correct it since it was an honest mistake I'm sure it will be okay.

I got a no insurance ticket because my husband forgot to put the insurance card in my car I took the proof into the office the next day. Even if they wanted to see proof it no longer existed since it was over three years ago.

If you are asked about it make sure to tell the truth, of course. You will go through the application one question at a time. when they get to question 23:

Have you EVER been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement officer...

you should say "Only a minor traffic infraction I forgot about."

The IO didn't make it that far with mine. Nor did I bring it up.

Yes I know the online status is not reliable or up to date usually! What's a little concerning to me is that I have not been put in line for an oath since the Tier 2 officer could not see it in their system and I know my office does same day oath ceremony so I am guessing it should not be very busy.

I must be missing something. Didn't you say you had your oath ceremony letter?

My interview was last Wednesday, even though i passed and have my oath ceremony letter right there, my online status hasn't change since april 4 (interview scheduled)....

Mine is the same. I think they stop updating once it is in the hands of the local office.

Passed my interview today and I was scheduled to take oath on June 7

Reading about your experience made me wonder something. As I mentioned before, I was given a hard time during the interview for a traffic violation that I disclosed in my N400 (a speeding ticket that was later dismissed). This lead the IO to have me wait outside the room for 10 minutes while she talked to a supervisor asking if the provided copy of the court decision for my speeding ticket was good enough for them.

When she called me back to the door and handed me the form saying I passed the civic/english test (no other box checked), she didn't have me sign my N-400. Is this something that happens when they don't make a decision on the spot or did she forget? In any event, I will probably have to sign it at one point, no?

Since last Wednesday my status on USCIS went from "under supervisor review" to "supervisor review complete" which does not mean a lot in itself ;-) Nothing since.

I think it was simply because the IO was in a bad mood. It is too bad your interview wasn't earlier in the day like Akihon's and mine. They should have said since you weren't arrested and it didn't involve alcohol it didn't matter and crossed it off your application. I'm not sure why they didn't have you sign it.
