  1. Hi German friends

i hope you can help us. we (he) did his medical in dortmund and our interview is on wednesday. we called the doctor today and he has not yet send the paperwork to frankfurt. should we worry? has anyone had this experience? please help

    Hallo Leidensgenossen,

    Bitte antwortet Soch! Danke!

  2. YES! very excited. But a bit worried. He did his medical last week in his town and he now called the doctor to make sure he mailed the papers to Frankfurt but he has not. So we either can hopefully pick up the papers and take them with us to frankfurt (not sure) or tell the doctor we will pay for the express overnight postage for him to send it to frankfurt or he will have to do the medical again in frankfurt.

  3. I still have hope for your hoildays Byron. I dont want to give you false hope but...after the approval it might go really fast and that is what i am hoping for you.

:crying: PLEASE VSC approve BYRON!!!! :crying:

I am leaving for Germany today to be with my SO for the visa interview. Wish us luck! But I will be logging on to check your progress. I hope good news is around the corner for all filers!!!

  4. The USC petitioner needs to handle the problems with the file. For several reasons.

    #1 - It's his petition.

#2 - He can get and collect the appropriate documents. She cannot.

#3 - It's his DUI. He needs to man-up and handle the situation.

Thanks Rebeccajo but it clearly says that it is not an issue unless he has 3 or more....and remember that the DWI is over 10 years old.

I'm still looking for a lawyer.

Of course it's his petition but we are in this together, we are a couple and I can't just sit and wait without doing anything. I'm gonna try to do whatever I can from where I am to make things easier for the both of us, especially for him now that I know that it's not a good time for him.

I know I cannot collect anything but at least I can be more informed of what to get and where to go.

Good thing he remembers where to go to get the same documents he got for the last petition.

We are also gonna get a Personal Criminal History Record, fingerprints, by the state of NY. Thanks to Frank for the info! I really appreciate it.

    Mirla -

It might not have been an issue had it originally been handled differently

But now it is an issue.

While you might want to help, the practical fact remains that your fiance needs to handle the situation. Bad time for him or not. I'd probably be asking him which were more important - the visa petition or his blown engine.

He surely needs to handle the situation but any and all information you can gather for him would be of great help. I think you are doing great by researching and weighing your options so that you can later contact him with your findings. This teamwork makes for a great couple. You will both grow stronger from this.

And this situation is not about a DUI but an error.

    Best of Luck, Girl!

  5. I AM SO UPSET!!!!! I just finished reading the thread. I have a feeling that good for nothing lawyer did not send a letter explaining the error on Petition 1!!! You should NOT be paying for this kind of service.. But first, deal with the RFE.

I only have the same advice most have already given you. Take action! Send explaination letter including all the backup with RFE. You have not been denied and you will get through this.

So sorry this is happening to you Mirla, we all love ya pal, hang in there!

  6. Must I submit the tax transcript at the interview? Can I just submit copies of 1040 & W2?

If it is a MUST that I submit tax transcripts (which I dont see it stated on the I 134 form instructions) how do I get them and how long does it take to get to me?

Tax transcripts are not required if you have !040 and W2s.

The are a bit more valid tho.

You can get the for free from IRS.

Just Google IRS tax transcripts. 24/7 automaded service. Took about 7 days for me to get.

Get 3 years while doing so.

Thanks! But I dont think I have time for the transcripts. I leave on Friday, Nov. 9th. Has anyone ever been denied because of transcripts?

  7. Thanks Mirla! Just that, with the way these people handle these cases anything is possible...Mirla, nothing new on your side??

Thanks Mirla! Just that, with the way these people handle these cases anything is possible...Mirla, nothing new on your side??

Nothing pal. If the letter was sent either thursday or friday from VT, I guess it will arrive sometime today! I don't think a letter from VT to NY will take more than 3 days, right????

It should be in the mail today or tomorrow. I am hoping it is something silly and simple they are asking for.

Byron, you are right about the prices! They have gone up tremendously!!!! $930 for AOS, #######!

  8. Im kind of stuck right now...i cant go ahead and buy a ticket because what if the interview happens?

Im not a CEO so there is oh so much time off i can take..

I have already one to see Leidy 4 times in Colombia and met her in Panama 3 weeks ago....so i have to use my time wisely.

as for the 60 days...that's what the machine says...so again there is no rush on their part to approve me...they have 50 days still... :crying:

DONT believe the machine. But I understand you... :crying: :crying:

  9. Thanks soch....just killing me that the holidays are slipping away!!!

I just called the automated line to see if i could see what time frame they have after they receive the requested evidence...it said i should expect to have an answer within 60 days!!!! :crying::crying:

SHUT UP!!!! I dont believe it 60 days. That does not seem right.

I know what you mean about the holidays. Did you decide to buy a ticket or wait for the interview? It went so quick for us after the NOA2 and I hope it goes quick for you too
