A friend had her Naturalization yesterday while I am still waiting for mine to be scheduled. So I called the military help line and, because it's been more than 90 days from my interview, they agreed to send a service request to my local office. Now I have to wait 15 to 30 days for their answer. Just wanted to share in case anyone is in the same situation. Even though I couldn't submit and inquiry in the website, they did it through the phone.
Did you apply through military service?

I understand....I am one of them but it does not mean everything has to be negative. The peace of mind is knowing that by the time we get done with the Naturalization process, we would not have another lengthy wait for getting our US passports.
I guess I look at the upside of things.
Nothing is negative! I am just saying.

It is positive, right!
I mean we've had COVID-19, murder hornets and riots....at least we can catch a break with getting our US passports when that time comes 😂
Some of us still waiting on interview to get scheduled

Anyone who filed in Oct-Nov 2019 in Chicago got scheduled for an interview?

They don't do infopass online anymore you have to call their contact center and request an appointment. This is something I did this year during COVID closures even. So only a few weeks ago. When I asked about the letter they said they don't send a second letter I'll need a stamp. So I got an appointment within two days or requesting it.
What number should I call?

Just sharing what I was told and what my experience was. Didn't say that's not what you were told.
I know. That's how suppose to be, but they do not do info passes anymore.

I was told a new extension letter cannot be sent once the first expires (the letter still states it extends the green card date another letter would expire at the same time as the first since the green card expiration date does not change). The next option is to get a stamp in your passport. That's what I was told and that's what I did. So now my stamp expires in 2021. My green card expired in 2018.
So, I called uscis military helpline, they told me as I said. 3 days ago.

Congrats All!
Glad you guys are finally getting your interview and oath dates.
Good for you!
You are almost there!
They don't give a damn f*** about military. No news yet! My unit is keep asking me what is going on. They don't believe I am on pending.

thanks for answering. hopefully and another extension will come..or approve the i751, thanks
That's not gonna happen. They will schedule you for N400 interview and everything else before that is automatically waived. It's easier for them.

Hello, good evening, I still have not received a response, I have my N 400 pending and my i751 says it is in the jurisdiction office, I am waiting for a response. on August 5 the extension expires. Do you think they respond quickly?
I called uscis from the same reason. They automatically send new extension if previous expire

Well this is interesting.
Just received an email that my oath ceremony has been scheduled. There is no info in myuscis, the descheduling notice is still the last date there.
Hoping, again better judgement, that this is not a fluke. I'll keep you posted if the notice comes in or if it shows up in myuscis
You must be kidding us. Hooah, good luck!

Is this affecting people who are in process for naturalization?
