Congratulations on your visa approval. I heard the medical result is now sent to them electronically. So by the time you get there, they'll have it in their system.

You're not cursed friend. It's just one of those many hiccups in the immigration journey. I pray your DQ comes soon.

It changes to "in transit" when the file's on its way to the embassy. NVC would by then have already notified you with an interview letter.

Usually from what I know, NVC sends you an appointment letter first with instructions as to what documents to carry, date and time of interview as well. The case in transit simply means it's on its way to the embassy. I wish you could join a group of people interviewing at your embassy. That way, you'll get firsthand info as to how things go there. Hope this helps.

I just received a reply to my inquiry to NVC about the email asking us to resubmit DS-260, and other documents we've already submitted. They said we should disregard it and that they're having problems receiving documents submitted after March 19th on time. So the date you submit your documents to them might not be the same date they received it. Smh.

Hi guys, so we got this this message in our inbox this afternoon and would like to know what it means: NVC cannot review your submitted documents until we have received all of the required documents DS-260, Civil Documents and Financial Documents. Once these documents have been submitted, we will review your case. Please follow your CEAC Home page and https://nvc.state.gov.

It means you've already been approved and case sent to NVC. You should've gotten an approval email from USCIS by now. Haven't you?

Congratulations 🎊! USCIS will send the case to NVC in a couple of days. NVC upon receipt of your case will send you a welcome letter through email with login details into your CEAC account. You'll then pay the required fees, and after the fees are processed, you can then start uploading the required documents.
