To OP:
I know I might come off as rude, but please don’t take it wrong. Somehow in your story it is perceived as if you want to stay by any means. No, I’m not saying that you are lying with the abuse! However, overstaying a B2, filing for asylum, then AOS denied and then VAWA can be perceived as “wanting to stay at any cost”. USCIS believed the relationship was not genuine, otherwise why would they have called your ex husband to the interview?I am sorry, but I don't see her case as you do. You maybe forgot she applied for asylum. It is dangerous for her to come back. I came here not like for asylum, I did not have any issues with the Russian government. But even in my case, I am afraid to go to Russia to see my children. It is not safe there now.
And the second thing, before leaving the US she needs to get a divorce first. Do you think it is right to stay officially married to such a guy for her whole life? It is difficult to divorce if you are staying out of the US

To be honest I'm kinda shocked how this even left SA so quickly. I traveled abroad recently and everyone was requiring vaccine certificates AND negative PCR tests no older than 72 hours. For unvaccinated people who were US citizens, the test had to be less than 24 hours. The airlines would not let people even get a boarding pass without showing the proper documentation. There's no easy peasy check in anymore with the instant boarding pass on your phone/print out at home, you have to go to the check in counter and get all documents checked and only then do they hand over the boarding pass.
Is it possible the PCR tests just do not work and someone can be infecting/spreading despite a negative result? Are people faking PCR test results? I'm just so confused. If we have technology that is supposed to detect infections why is it still not under control?
The test shows a positive result no earlier than 4 days after infection. And the incubation period (when a person has already become infected, but so far no signs of the disease have appeared) can last up to 2 weeks. Those. the person is not yet sick but is already spreading the infection around him.

We used Uber and taxi. Uber is much cheaper. But we didn’t have to use it much because our hotel was 5 minutes walking distance from the embassy. We payed for everything with my US bank card and we never had any issues with it.
Thank you! Good idea!!!

Hello everyone! My husband finally got his visa! I know many of you are going through similar situations and I appreciate everyone who posts here with helpful information. I hope to also help anyone with questions like ours so here is a detailed description of how things went for us.

One more question- does your friend live south or north of Seattle? Just trying to see if they are scheduling biometric for Seattle based November Applications or Portland based. Thanks for your update. It’s really helpful.
Her fingerprint appointment is scheduled for August 17th at the Seattle office.
She is living in downtown Seattle.
I think now everything should start to move faster because there are not covid-19 limitations anymore.
And it is interesting, that her letter says that now we can have cellphones with us, it is only should be turned off. -

She submited N400, Seattle Office

My friend submitted an application on November 1st, 2020. And she is still waiting for her biometric appointment invitation.

If you are a sponsor for your relative's green card, Yeas, you have to report your address changing.

When it happened to me, I scheduled infopass appointment in USCIS and they put a stamp on my passport. Stamp said that my GC was extended for 1 more year.

Same here I’m unable to pull my case snapshot and my interview is coming up. Anybody else having that issue? Thanks.
I have the same issue right now. I tried all kinds of browsers - Internet Explorer, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Android from my cell phone. I am getting the same message "Try later again".
How did you resolve the issue?
