  1. My birth certificate got rejected today and it shows this message. However I checked the NVC website and it says birth certificate can be from municipal corporation for Pakistan but still rejected mine. But the scan was of bad quality so I think they rejected mine bcz of quality.

So is this a generic message even for bad quality scanned documents or do I need to get another birth certificate from some different issuing authority?
    Very confused and stressed

I just talked to NVC and they got my case on June 30th, but it's not entered into the system yet as they are working on cases received on June 22nd onwards. My theory is something was wrong with transfer, NVC sent it back to USCIS, they corrected and sent it back by mail, if it was electronic I would've received welcome email on 30th.

They are finally working on cases recieved on 30th June. Hopefully we all will get welcome letter this week IA 🤞🏻

This is a bit of stress relief. Finally something that gives us hope, means you will get it by next week for sure 🤞🏻

You called them and got all this info?

I did, they won't do anything until its 45 days and I am afraid if I call back after that, they will just say give it upto 3 months. I am just so frustrated.

Problem is for us, case is already sent to NVC as shown in our accounts but still thr is nothing from them. So USCIS might just put the blame on NVC.

I have been asking lawyer to do something too but she’s not doing anything either and just using the excuse that wait for 45 days

You will probably get this generic reply from them.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of State found an error in your case that prevented its transfer to the National Visa Center (NVC) in a timely manner.

We are working with USCIS to correct the error so that we can receive your case information. If you do not receive your NVC Welcome Notice within 30 days, please contact us again.

It's frustrating USCIS messed up the transfer of case, who knows how long they take to fix it.

By error do they mean an error in our case or error made by them?

This reply made me a little worried

No. It say only case approved and in my dhs.gov account it say case closed but still in process the status

I read somewhere but not sure if its true or not that once case is sent to NVC by USCIS it takes 6 to 8 weeks for them to issue a case number and a way to know if case was sent or not by USCIS is in your online account it will state "Case was sent to department of state."

    Nothing too. I’m so stressing

Does it say on your online USCIS account that case was sent to department of state?

Me too it’s just so annoying, once I-130 got approved I was so happy that difficult part of journey is over now but here we are now NVC case number is stuck for no reason 🤦🏻‍♀️
