I uploaded my mother’s tax transcript from 2016, 2017, and 2018. Followed by w2 for 2019 and w2 for 2018. For 2019 tax transcript I wrote an explanation letter stating that due to Covid 19 we were unable to retrieve that.

So Should we Mention that the taxes are pending ITIN for 2019 on part 11: Additional Information of the i864 or anywhere else?

we were unable to get the transcripts too because of covid, you should upload an explanation letter. Not in the supporting docs area but actually the finance option. Explaining why you don't have it and that you will bring it to the interview with your. We were scared for an RFE, but got DQ in 5 days.

"Should we 1) Mention that the taxes are pending ITIN on part 11: Additional Information of the i864, or just attach the 2019 tax form/W2 and move on?

Also 2) should we attach w2 from previous years (I know previous years are optional!) With the previous year tax transcripts or just the tax transcripts enough?

Thanks in advance for all you do!"

  3. For NVC phase, when my husband (sponsor-US citizen) has to submit his last three years of taxes, we have tax transcripts from IRS for 2016,2017,2018. But since we are filing married joint for 2019, the tax return will be delayed waiting for the ITIN process. He has sent his 2019 taxes to IRS at this point, but we won't receive a transcript for quite some time as first the ITIN process must complete, after which our taxes get processed.

The US deadline for taxes is July 15th, but I'm concerned I will be at the stage with NVC after that date, which means I need to submit my 2019 taxes.

We read the instructions and it seems we can submit tax transcripts for 2017, 2018, and just the personal copy of our tax return for 2019 since we won't have a transcript? Just wanted to confirm if:
    1) we can submit the personal copy (not transcript) of 2019 return
    2) do we need to make note of this on the last page of the I864 where it asks us to note any specific info potentially like this?

Thanks! Responses will be highly appreciated ❤️

Hear you. There's a tiny percentage of IOE filers looks like who don't get NVC email right away for whatever reason, who knows. I also freaked out first few days after approval but now I've accepted my fate and moved on. :)

It's not embassies are open for interviews anyways, I would rather have embassies do interviews as soon as possible, who knows how long that wait is gonna be.

They are currently creating cases received on 21st May, so you cant submit inquiry based on that?

Samething happened to me.  So you need to wait until next week

How long did it take for you to get the case number?

Don’t worry about the “in process”. It still says this for us and we got approved on March 4th 🤣 you should have a little blue box saying “case closed” above or below the case number on the overview page. That indicates that the USCIS part has been completed.

Yup we have that. Now just worried about NVC email 🤭

Sometime they take time to send approval from service center  because every officer and service center is different. Sometime they send approval before and update  website

Hopefully that’s the case. Keeping my fingers crossed. Also our status on online account still says in process but we found the approval under documents tab. But uscis app shows “case sent to department of state”. May be that’s why they are taking so long to send case number 🤷🏻‍♀️

Congratulations!!!! June is killing it, more approvals to come soon for sure....

Our NVC email came pretty much the next day, but I've seen that for others it has taken longer.

We did not hired a lawyer so I do not know how NVC decides which email address to send the email to. If I had to guess I would say that both the petitioner and the lawyer should receive the email.

    Regards!

Thanks a lot and yes June has been really good so far. Now fingers crossed for NVC email.

Hopefully lawyer is not the only one receiving it because we don’t want to continue with her

    Hi Vcgy, thanks for asking!

Date change was today June 1st. Yes, you are correct, I did get that "standard" answer when I submitted the Out of normal processing time.

I guess if my case still at TSC then the approval should be "imminent" :)

Hopping you also get your approval and start stressing out about next step. We are getting "bored" of stressing about the same thing ;)

    Best wishes/regards!

Hopefully you get your approval soon after this date change. Did you have any other date change before this?

I just finished chatting with a live agent and she said my case was transferred from Nebraska to Vermont on February 23. This is a little disappointing considering Vermont and California have the slowest processing rate, but I was reading on November filers thread that some who have had their cases transferred from Texas and Nebraska were  approved according the the original service center time lines; I hope that's the case for all transfers.

My latest date change was May 7.

Good luck to you all and hope we can see more October filers approvals soon!

    Any update on your case?

My last date change was May 7 too but nothing after that

    Hello all!

I recently had a date change on May 7. Prior change to that was February 23. I've never called USCIS, but been wanting to since reading here that date changes sometimes mean case being transferred. Any thoughts? Thanks

We had the same date change and prior to that the only date change was December, 26. You can contact EMMA and ask a live representative if it’s been transferred or not
