We are both living in Dublin. But since Dublin don’t offer DCF we can’t apply at a different consulate? I’m the beneficiary. My husband is a USC and has a job offer in the states. I think it’s odd too.

Do you think we could try a different consulate? I would of thought because my own country doesn’t offer DCF we could of applied elsewhere.

Yes we asked the consulate in Dublin first but they said they do not offer this service. So we asked London embassy..

My husband and I are currently residing in Dublin, Ireland. My husband got a job offer in the US and we want to apply for DCF. Unfortunately the Dublin embassy does not offer this service so we applied to London and we explained our situation. They emailed us today to say they cannot accept our request. Is this because we don’t reside in London? Someone please help!

Thank you so much, how long does a CR1 take from start to finish? I know it takes about a year I just can’t believe we have to do all this paperwork again. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

I went to the US on a K1 visa last year but my fiancé and I felt extreme pressure to get married. We didn’t want to rush anything so I went back home. We are still together, we have a 2 year old and another baby on the way and are now thinking on going down the CR1 route.
