Its good to get some acknowledgment that they are looking at your file. Really appreciate the update and hopefully its a quick fix. We checked and still have nothing but we are more hopeful that we will soon get some correspondents. Even an RFE would be acceptable at this time because it will give us a path forward. Please continue to keep us posted as we will do the same.
Thank you,

Since then we received NOA but still have not received the biometrics (Code 2). It looks like it was about 3 months for you to go from AOS NOA and that is where we are sitting now. I appreciate your reply and congratulations on getting your Green Card mailed!

I forgot about the pics. I mentioned there are companies interested in my qualifications, but that did not seem to qualify for biometrics situation. I chatted with one through Emma and that person sent me a list of reasons that would qualify for expedited biometrics appointment. They were like DACA, and nothing related to a job offer.. that was upsetting..
Okay, that is why I've not even attempted to talk to any reps. It usually creates more frustration for me and wastes my time. I'm hopeful that we will soon get some response from USCIS not that its been 90 days since they've received our packages. Thank you,

No news for us either yet... We only received the NOA1s and that's it. Waiting on the biometrics appointment letter.. I asked a USCIS rep if they could just use the previously submitted biometrics but they basically said no.
Did you ask about the USCIS rep about photos? Appreciate you response and hope we get some news soon. My wife already has a job offer but cannot accept it because of this delay.

We got confirmation today that our check was cashed! We hope that means that we will soon see our N01. Fingers crossed that we do not get an RFE. Really appreciate all of you that have been giving us encouragement.

Great news and thank you for sharing. I hope you don't get an RFE. BTW why do you believe you will get it?

It says NOA1 can take up to 90 days to receive, as someone shared the link to USCIS website above. Be hopeful as much as you can and maybe send it again once you hit the 90 days. Good luck
Good idea. Its only been 5 weeks so we will be patient for now but if 90 days passes we will send it again. Thank you

We sent ours January 16. Still no NOA1 and when called nothing in the system. We had money orders so we can’t see if it’s cashed. I am very worried since I had friends who got theirs after 4 weeks and they sent it right after we did..
It sound from the responses I've gotten that many people are delayed. Lets hope it means that we will clear the interview as a reward for our patience.

ours was received on 05 Feb 2021.....
we have heard nothing either....
Question...how to deal with an expiring Green Card without a receipt from the I-751 submission?
Anyone know?
Thanks...i guess we are all waiting
think i posted in wrong place...but everything appears slow
HRQX posted after you the answer if you did not read it. Here is the answer. Thank you for replying because I know now its not just us waiting. https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-lockbox-updates "As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, an increase in filings, current postal service volume and other external factors, you may experience a delay of four to six weeks in receiving your receipt notice after properly filing an application or petition with a USCIS lockbox. These delays will not affect the receipt date which is determined pursuant to 8 C.F.R. 103.2(a)(7). Delays may vary among form types and lockbox locations."

The AOS was received at Chicago Lockbox February 11, 2021 and we have not gotten a reply. I looked at stats and lots show the maximum time between AOS being received to NOA1 no more than 24 days. Does that sound right? Any shared wisdom on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Today its being reported that President Biden will issue and executive order to review immigration procedures. It seems that one of the topics for review is this declaration of self sufficiency. We are now about to send our forms out to Chicago for the AOS and would like to hear from you my friends here on VisaJourney how you are interpreting these changes and if the I-944 is necessary in the case of K1 to AOS filing. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I called USCIS a few weeks ago to ask about the valid date for the K1 approval. I was told that they will be extending those dates automatically and did not need an extension. I asked for the representatives name and ID which she gave to me so I have something to back it up. Its worth calling yourself to see if they give you the same answer.

The NOC2 approval of petition for fiance (1129) has a 120 day valid date. We received the NOC2 1/16. The approval notice box will show the dates.

We received the notice and had an interview date that was cancelled due to Covid19 AIT closure. Probably the reason your not getting a reply because they are backlogged. Our concern is that we passed the May 15 USCIS expiration date. Does anyone know if they will automatically extend them if your interview was cancelled?

I appreciate the update and I get that its an optimistic view and not an official statement. Still something positive is better then nothing as many people like us have been in limbo since March. We had our interview setup and my fiance had her biometric medical exam done just before they canceled 5 days before the interview. We have not heard anything and the only reply we have received is to look for something on the AIT website. Thank you and wishing you the best for you and your fiance.

Does anyone know if consulates and for my case the American Institute in Taiwan will open May 4? We had gotten our interview date for K1 visa (approved) just need to get interview done. They cancelled our interview that was set March 15. What is most worrying is that we were given a 90 day window to have this done. This due date is May 15. I'm not seeing anywhere about the consulates opening but I assume they will because they are the arbitrator of some of the qualifications to enter under this EO suspension. Any insight is appreciate.

We have an approved K1 Visa and had an interview date set (Mar 25) that was cancelled. The way I read it is that those seeking permanent residency as well as most work visa's will be suspended. I also notice conflicting restriction timeline; 90 days on one site and 60 on the other. So, any clarification would be appreciated. Technically the K1 visa is not a petition for permanent residency. This comes after the 90 days in which the couple must get married and then petition for permanent residency. I'm not 100% if I'm reading this correctly and if anyone has more information please share. Thanks and good luck to everyone here during this challenging time.

Please signs it. I just did and have our K1 visa approved with an interview day that was canceled less than a week before it was set. Little to say we are sucking wind right now. I'm sure were not alone and even worst when kids are involved. K1 Visa beneficiaries have to go through a major medical examination that lessens risk beyond that of a tourist. Anyway, thanks for listening and please sign it.

in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

We received are appointment letter for biometrics. We started the AOS journey Feb 11, 2021. So, its taken 6 months to get biometrics. Its actually an improvement as many have been waiting 8-10 months. A good indication that they are getting back to a regular schedule. Wishing everyone get good wishes.
